1 JOHN 1:8 NKJV
If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
We are the sinners God is Holy. I think as a sinner, we should be looking for a way to make ourselves pure and acceptable before the Holy God, but as seen in Isaiah 1:8, reverse is the case.
Imagine the Holy one inviting the fallen ones into a dialogue; "come you fallen ones, let us reason together". The invitation is for the entire fallen human race. But God will not have a dialogue with you by force. Believe me, if you honour the invitation and you make up you mind to reason with the Holy one this is what you will stand to enjoy "though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as the snow (how can you be in the presence of the Holy one and sin will still be in you), though they are red like the crimson, they shall be as the wool (no matter the level or the depth of your sins, it will definitely be a new beginning for you in the presence of He who invited you to the conversation)" ISAIAH 1:18 NKJV
THIS IS THE BEGINNING OF REASONING WITH GOD (1 JOHN 1:9 NKJV)
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Dear Lord, as many of us as possible, who has decided to come to you, please in your infinite mercy, kindly forgive our sins, heal our wound and bless us with your Holy spirit that will help us live a new life. In Jesus name we pray.
