LUKE 8:22-25 nkjv

22 Now it happened, on a certain day, that He got into a boat with His disciples. And He said to them, “Let us cross over to the other side of the lake.” And they launched out.
23 But as they sailed He fell asleep. And a windstorm came down on the lake, and they were filling with  water, and were in jeopardy.
24 And they came to Him and awoke Him, saying, “Master, Master, we are perishing!” Then He arose and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water. And they ceased, and there was a calm.
25 But He said to them, “Where is your faith?” And they were afraid, and marveled, saying to one another, “Who can this be? For He commands even the winds and water, and they obey Him!”

Like the disciples of Jesus, sometimes we encounter tribulations and troubles that often put us in Jeopardy. Even as Christians, sometimes there are raging storms in our lives that appears to be drowning us.

The disciples appeared to be worried about a way out when the solution was right there with them. But the moment they decided to call on the master was the moment of their deliverance (MASTER, MASTER, WE ARE PERISHING, THEN HE AROSE AND REBUKE THE WIND AND THE RAGING OF THE WATER AND THEY CEASED AND THERE WAS A CALM)

What are you going through that appeared to be a raging storm? Is it marital issues (maybe there is always a conflict between you and your spouse), is your own storm always coming from your business or from your work? Is the storm that always put you in jeopardy has to do with your health? Think about the Storms and the raging waters in your life.

If you have been calling on Jesus to calm the storms and it appears the raging storm is still there, then you should know its time to use your faith. The lord has not forsaken you neither was He deaf to your prayers. He just didn't want you to be like the disciples of old, who doesn't have faith. After Jesus rebuked the storms in their lives, He then asked them where there faith was (verse 25)

If you have been calling on Jesus to rebuke the storms in your life, I think its time for you to change your prayer points. "Call on Jesus today to strengthen your faith" then stand on your feet and rebuke the storms yourself. Jesus said, if you have faith like a grain of mustard seed, you will tell this mountain to be removed and it shall be soso and nothing will be impossible for you (Matthew 17:20).

If the Lord does not want us to use our faith and face the giants, He wouldn't have asked the disciples where their faith was. The giant before you is never bigger than the GOD who lives inside of you.

The lord will aid your faith with a lot of wonders and miracles. God bless you.
