Psalms 20:1-9 NKJV

 1 May the Lord answer you in the day of trouble; May the name of the God of Jacob defend you;
 2 May He send you help from the sanctuary, And strengthen you out of Zion;
3 May He remember all your offerings, And accept your burnt sacrifice.
4 May He grant you according to your heart’s desire, And fulfill all your purpose.
5 We will rejoice in your salvation, And in the name of our God we will set up our banners! May the Lord fulfill all your petitions.
6 Now I know that the Lord saves His anointed; He will answer him from His holy heaven With the saving strength of His right hand.
7 Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; But we will remember the name of the Lord our God.
8 They have bowed down and fallen; But we have risen and stand upright.
9 Save, Lord ! May the King answer us when we call.

He that has seen us thus far, will surely make us see the end of 2015 in Joy, in peace in Happiness, in Good Health and in a Better relationship with Him.

The month of November, the Lord shall bless the works of your hands.
The lord shall multiply you.
You shall not be barren.
You shall be fruitful.
At the end of this month we will praised the Lord together.

Amen and Amen

Have a a fruitful month

Isaiah 45:2-3 NKJV

‘I will go before you And make the crooked places straight; I will break in pieces the gates of bronze And cut the bars of iron. I will give you the treasures of darkness And hidden riches of secret places, That you may know that I, the Lord , Who call you by your name, Am the God of Israel.

Psalms 19:12-14 NKJV

12 Who can understand his errors? Cleanse me from secret faults.
13 Keep back Your servant also from presumptuous sins; Let them not have dominion over me. Then I shall be blameless, And I shall be innocent of great transgression.
14 Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart Be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord , my strength and my Redeemer.

A friend shared this with me, you can also share with your friend if you are motivated by it.

One day a local evangelist bragged during a crusade that his God was more able than all the other gods in the town and the powers of the universe that the villagers worshiped put together. Just then, rainstorm sounds started sounding overhead, threatening the progress of the crusade. The evangelist lifted up his voice and declared with confidence that if the rains fell, then he wasn't a man of God; he would stop preaching!

Before he could finish his bluff, the rains began to hit the crusade grounds so vehemently, apparently in disregard to his declarations. The whole town left the crusade grounds to their houses, shaking their heads in disappointment and dismay.

The evangelist, so distraught and angry, packed his belongings and left the town the next day. On his way through the next town, he checked into a local drinking spot and drank himself to stupor. As he laid on the ground cursing God, an old seedy looking man tapped him gently on the shoulder. "Man of God", the old man began. But the evangelist quickly cut in, "don't mention the name of God to me. He is fake. He is unreliable. I am no longer a believer in this God. A God who chooses to disgrace his servants. Leave me alone!"

But the old man would not let him be. He continued,"I am the fetish priest in the village you just preached at. During your one week stay in that village, you destroyed all the charms i had made on the people for 45 years. Your prayers and your words always came with some fearful fire and power. I tried so many times to eliminate you but i couldn't. My last chance came yesterday. I had loaded my gun with gun powder lying wait on the mountaintop where i had a very clear view of you. My plan was to shoot you from a distance since i couldn't get close enough to you due to the fire around you. But just when i lifted the gun, the rains came from nowhere, wetting my gunpowder and covering you in a cloud so that i couldn't even see you. All i saw was a bright man holding a sword in front of you. I was so terrified. I concluded that your God was indeed all powerful and Almighty. That is why i've been looking for you since then. I want to follow this your God!" The ex-evangelist bowed his head in shame!

Dear friends, it is just wise for us to believe that our Father want to put us to shame when we feel a little heat of disappointment. We should just trust His leading. Let our boast be in the Lord, not in ourselves. If we decree a thing and it doesn't happen, let us not see it as disappointment or dishonor from the Father. Satan often paint the Love of God for us like a disappointment. Let us just believe that the Father wants his perfect will to be done in all things.

Hebrews 6:4-6 NKJV

For it  is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted the heavenly gift, and have become partakers of the Holy Spirit, and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, if they fall away, to renew them again to repentance, since they crucify again for themselves the Son of God, and put Him to an open shame.

The writer of the book Hebrews wrote this message to a special set of people. The message here is neither for humble sinners who pleads guilty and begs for mercy nor it is for a Christian who was tempted and backslides. The message here is for the people who has experienced salvation, the goodness and mercy of the Lord but they now openly renounce Jesus, His cause and His mission (Matthew Henry concise commentary, Bible Commentary)

Let us imagine the set of people, who has confessed Jesus Christ as the Lord and the only begotten Son of God and now they are openly renouncing Jesus Christ and His mission. These set of people can also be called "Antichrist".

The craft and the power of the devil cannot be underestimated in the sense that, in these later days the devil may not make people openly renounce Jesus Christ before the whole wide world but he comes at us in the form of opportunities that we so much desire. Most times we see some hard to reject contracts that will change our socioeconomic status in a twinkle of an eye, put us in a better place in the society but many of such contracts take something away from us. "Our relationship with God"

Some of these contracts are 24/7 kind of contracts, no more time to read the bible, no time to pray to God, there is a meeting  or we are on a permanent shift on the day of worship and so on. The devil is so crafty that when we are signing agreements with such companies we will see all these things and we will put our signature in agreement to those terms and conditions thinking that we will find a way out. But in the middle of it, we will discovered that we are very far away from God.

On the other hand, some job requirements will clearly state that, if you are a practicing Christian, do not apply, or they will cunningly put it that religious status may determine who will be picked for such jobs. At this points, some Christians may think of hiding their religious identity thinking that at a point they will go back to God in Repentance, that God will understand. But when they look at their Job responsibilities, they will find it hard to identify themselves as Christians because what is required of them from work and a normal Christian way of life are two opposite things.

In some other cases, because of the tradition and ways of life of people around us, we cannot identify yourself as a Christian. In the quest for survival, some Christians will renounce their religion because they have found themselves in a land where the indigenes do not believe in the Son of God and they can terminate anyone who does.

Satan is trying all his possible best to lure people of God away from their heavenly inheritance by cunningly making people renounce what they believe or by openly making people renounce what they believe.

Openly renouncing what we believe because of socioeconomic status, good health and survival (in terms of rituals and traditions respectively) or secretly renouncing Jesus is a way of putting to shame the one who loved us, who laid is life down for us so that we will become heirs of the kingdom and through such actions, we crucify him again.

The danger of such action is seen in the bible text above Hebrews 6:4-6. The craft and the power of the devil is great, as God knows what we need, the devil also knows what we need and he uses what we need to lure us to sin....

Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:37-39 NKJV

Galatians 3:26-29 NKJV

For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.

Sometimes we suffer on some issues. Sometimes we find it hard to make a decision on what to do with our lives. Many times we get so worried about what to do about a situation that has being bothering us for a very long time and most of the times we need wisdom and understanding to deal with our problems and with the people around us......

No matter what the case may be;

“Thus says the Lord  who made it, the Lord who formed it to establish it (the Lord  is His name): ‘Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.’
Jeremiah 33:2-3 NKJV

Oh, what peace we often forfeit, oh, what needless pain we bear, just because we do not carry everything to God in prayer. CALL ON GOD TODAY, He will answer you and He will show you a way out of your troubles. He made this promise to us, believe me God honors His words. Heaven and earth may pass away, but His words will not go unfulfilled.

Take your time to seek the face of the Lord He will show you great and mighty things which you do not know.

Have a wonderful day.
God bless you.

Let the words of our mouth and meditation of our heart be acceptable in thy sight oh Lord, our Rock and Our Redeemer. (PSALMS 19:14)

Dear Lord, our kind and Loving Father we are here before the throne of mercy to humble ourselves and to seek Your face this day. We want to give You thanks for all You have done for us and we want to take this moment to ask You to do more. Please hear us from above and answer our prayers.

We thank You for the gift of life
We thank You for the provision of good things
We thank You for Your gift of the Holy Spirit
We thank You for how far You have led us through life
We thank You for Your steadfast Love that never ceased
We thank You for Your mercy that never comes to an end
Dear God let our praises be accepted this hour in Jesus name.

As much as we appreciate how much You have led us through life we want to take this moment to ask for more. Dear Lord please shine Your everlasting light unto our path. We do not want to fall into temptations, please strengthen us. We pray that You provide for our needs and satisfy our desires with good things. Please Heal our diseases, Father meet us all at the points of our need. Bless our going out and bless our coming in. Deliver us from every form of evil. Most importantly, do not let Your presence depart from us and at the end of our Journey here on earth, when Jesus shall come again, count us worthy to be a part of Your Heavenly Kingdom.

In JESUS name we pray.

God will bless your week.

John 6:22-35 NKJV

On the following day, when the people who were standing on the other side of the sea saw that there was no other boat there, except that one which His disciples had entered, and that Jesus had not entered the boat with His disciples, but His disciples had gone away alone— however, other boats came from Tiberias, near the place where they ate bread after the Lord had given thanks— when the people therefore saw that Jesus was not there, nor His disciples, they also got into boats and came to Capernaum, seeking Jesus.

And when they found Him on the other side of the sea, they said to Him, “Rabbi, when did You come here?” Jesus answered them and said, “Most assuredly, I say to you, you seek Me, not because you saw the signs, but because you ate of the loaves and were filled.  Do not labor for the food which perishes, but for the food which endures to everlasting life, which the Son of Man will give you, because God the Father has set His seal on Him.”

Then they said to Him, “What shall we do, that we may work the works of God?” Jesus answered and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent.” Therefore they said to Him, “What sign will You perform then, that we may see it and believe You? What work will You do? Our fathers ate the manna in the desert; as it is written, ‘He gave them bread from heaven to eat.’ ”

Then Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, Moses did not give you the bread from heaven, but My Father gives you the true bread from heaven.  For the bread of God is He who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.” Then they said to Him, “Lord, give us this bread always.” And Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst.

I don't want this moment to pass me bye without praising God

I feel so blessed because I know the Lord,
I feel so honoured because the Lord takes pleasure in me.
When I was lost, I found the favor of the Lord
With the precious blood of Jesus, He cleansed me.

Lord I am forever grateful because of your love towards me.
When I look forward and I see a lot of people ahead of me and I wish to proceed to those great heights, your spirit calmed me and made me look behind to see people that are praying to be where I am today, then I know that indeed you have been very good to me.

Some people have food but they cannot eat,
Some can eat but they have no food.
Some people walk miles to digest what they ate
Some walk miles to look for what to eat.
I have food, I can eat, my digestive system is okay (I don't walk miles to get my food digested) and I don't walk miles to look for what to eat. I am very grateful dear Lord.

I am not writing this post in the prison, neither am I writing it from the hospital bed. What else can I say? I am 100% thankful Heavenly Father.

To all the readers of this post, think deep about your life, forget about your negative experiences, ponder on the positive things the Lord has done for you;
- provision of food
- your body is functioning well,
- even if you walk miles to get food at least you get food, some people walk miles to look for food yet they don't have it.
- whenever you eat, you feel hungry again, a sign that your digestive system is functioning well
- you are not reading this post from the prison.

You see that the Lord has been good to you, you may not be where you want to be right now, look around you and you will see people praying to be where you are right now, that means you are better placed to some people.

I am taking this moment to praise the Lord, come and Join me sing Hallelujah.
In Jesus name I have given thanks.

Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 NKJV

Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God and keep His commandments, For this is man’s all. For God will bring every work into judgment, Including every secret thing, Whether good or evil.

Exodus 17:8-13 NKJV

8 Now Amalek came and fought with Israel in Rephidim.
9 And Moses said to Joshua, “Choose us some men and go out, fight with Amalek. Tomorrow I will stand on the top of the hill with THE ROD OF GOD in my hand.
10 So Joshua did as Moses said to him, and fought with Amalek. And Moses, Aaron, and Hur went up to the top of the hill.
11 And so it was, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed; and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed.
12 But Moses’ hands became heavy; so they took a stone and put it under him, and he sat on it. And Aaron and Hur supported his hands, one on one side, and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady until the going down of the sun.
13 So Joshua defeated Amalek and his people with the edge of the sword.

The very first battle the Israelites fought after their exodus from Egypt was against the Amalek. The children of Isreal has not being to war before that time, so this is a very great test for them. They needed more than skills and war experience to win this battle against the Amaleks. The Presence of God in this battle can only do it.

Yes, the Israelites prepared themselves and the battle started, but there is something of note during the battle; "Moses standing on the hill, with the ROD OF GOD in his hand, and whenever he held up his hand, Isreal prevailed and every time he let down his hand, the Amalek prevails." The question now is; "For how long will Moses be able to sustain his hand in the air, before they completely go numb and he will not be able to raise them again?"

It is very obvious that the victory of Israelites depends on the the ROD OF GOD in Moses' hand with the Hands raised high up. So the contributions that Aaron and Hur made that day will never go unnoticed.

First of all, they made the prophet comfortable by making Him sit on a stone. After Moses was seated, His hands still has to be raised in the air so both Aaron and Hur took it upon themselves to support the prophet hand by holding it up in the air. And the first battle after exodus was won that day.

Your contributions to the gospel will never go unnoticed. You may not be a spiritual leader (Pastor, Reverend, Elder, Bishop....etc) and you may not be directly involved in preaching the Gospel but your prayers, your manual labour, financial support and whatever you can do to directly or indirectly support the people involved in gospel mission will not go unnoticed before God.

As you make up your mind to support the gospel, the Lord God Himself will fight your battles for you and make your like meaningful. In Jesus name we pray.

this message was inspired by the Hymn titled

Hark! the voice of Jesus calling,
“Who will go and work today?
Fields are white, the harvest waiting,
Who will bear the sheaves away?”
Loud and long the Master calleth,
Rich reward He offers free;
Who will answer, gladly saying,
“Here am I, O Lord, send me”?
If you cannot cross the ocean
And the heathen lands explore,
You can find the heathen nearer,
You can help them at your door;
If you cannot speak like angels,
If you cannot preach like Paul,
You can tell the love of Jesus,
You can say He died for all.
If you cannot be the watchman,
Standing high on Zion’s wall,
Pointing out the path to heaven,
Offering life and peace to all;
With your prayers and with your bounties
You can do what Heaven demands,
You can be like faithful Aaron,
Holding up the prophet’s hands.
While the souls of men are dying,
And the Master calls for you,
Let none hear you idly saying,
“There is nothing I can do!”
Gladly take the task He gives you,
Let His work your pleasure be;
Answer quickly when He calleth,
“Here am I, O Lord, send me.”

Read each lines of this lyrics, it is a great message for all.

Have a wonderful day.

You can share this message with your friends too, its part of the contributions that will not go unnoticed..... Winks

Matthew 26:69-75 NKJV

69 Now Peter sat outside in the courtyard. And a servant girl came to him, saying, “You also were with Jesus of Galilee.”
70 But he denied it before them all, saying, “I do not know what you are saying.” (soft denial, nothing attached)
71 And when he had gone out to the gateway, another girl saw him and said to those who  were there, “This fellow also was with Jesus of Nazareth.”
72 But again he denied with an oath, “I do not know the Man!” (strong denial, with an oath)
73 And a little later those who stood by came up and said to Peter, “Surely you also are one of them, for your speech betrays you.”
74 Then he began to curse and swear, saying, “I do not know the Man!”  (a very srong denial, accompanied with curse and swear.) Immediately a rooster crowed.
75 And Peter remembered the word of Jesus who had said to him, “Before the rooster crows, you will deny Me three times.” So he went out and wept bitterly.

Earlier in the evening Jesus predicted that He will be taken and the disciples will be scattered but Peter said, “Even if all are made to stumble because of You, I will never be made to stumble.” Jesus then affirm what He was telling them by telling Peter that he will deny Him three times before the rooster crows. Peter was just too confident at that moment to the extent that he said "Even if I have to die with you, I will not deny you!" Matthew 26:33-35 NKJV

There is a very great lesson I was able to obtain from these bible verses. Most of the times, just like Peter, most of us are very confident that come rain or sunshine, we will never deny our faith and what we believe but when we are out of our comfort zone and we are faced with trials then we deny our Faith (with oaths, curses and swearing).

Peter couldn't do this, but we can all do this; we need to pray and seek the face of the Lord to strengthen us to be able to hold on fast to our Faith and our trust in Him whenever we are out of our comfort zones and we are faced with trials.

dear Lord we humble ourselves before you this hour to seek your face concerning our Faith. We are weak oh Lord because we are simply flesh and blood but you are strong and mighty because you are Divine. Father please come and strengthen our Faith and our trust in you.

Do not let us be faced with trials and temptation that will make us deny you. By our power and our strength we cannot do this but we ask for your Holy Spirit to help us.

In Jesus name we pray.

I John 2:15-17 NKJV

15 Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
16 For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world.
17 And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.

I have read these Bible verses many times, but today, I dwell so much on it. I read it over and over again....."do not love the world or things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the father is not in him."

We cannot forget that we are all pilgrims in this world. Our time here is temporary just like all that we come across during our journey here. When our time is over, at an appointed time we will have to appear before the Father to give account of how we lived our lives and at that point, will He say "welcome, my good servant" or will He say "depart from me you worker of iniquity"

Now if we all know our time here is temporary and we will give account of how we lived our lives when our journey is over then two great things should come to our Minds

Verse 16 categorized all that is in this world under three banners;
- The lust of flesh
- The lust of the eyes
- The pride of life

The lust of the eyes gives birth to the lust of the flesh. When your eyes sees, then your heart will desire. If you successfully achieve what your eyes desires then the pride of life comes in.

While we are here, we are definitely passing through the World, obviously there are things that will catch our attentions, we will desire to achieve somethings so that our life here will be worthwhile and we will try our possible best to achieve those things....the sad part of it all is when the journey of life is over "all our luxury and our achievement (wealth, titles, our certificates etc) stays on the surface of the earth while we are being lowered beneath the earth into the graves." ....hmm all that is in the world is definitely of the world, they are not of the father.... So, what will our account be before the father?

The Father has Loved us so much that He gave His only begotten son in propitiation for our sins so that we can be called the sons and daughters of God instead of being called sinners.

The love of the Father can only be felt if we put God first into consideration before we take any step during our Journey here and if we greatly desire to live our lives to please Him and try all our possible best to do His will.

I cannot overemphasize the fact that; while we are here, we must struggle to make ends meet, we must toil to put food on our tables and so on. But listen to what the Son of God has to say about this;

“Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing?  Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?  Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature? “So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin;  and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.  Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’  For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. BUT SEEK FIRST THE KINGDOM OF GOD AND HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS AND ALL THESE THINHS SHALL BE ADDED TO YOU.... Matthew 6:25-33 NKJV"

I will conclude on I John 2:15-17 by saying "do not be carried away with what we experience here, what awaits those who love God and does His will is far greater than what we desire to experience ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, the things we need to make our lives worthwhile will be added unto us because God already knows we need them."

Ephesians 4:1-32 NKJV

I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called, with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love, endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There  is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

But to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of Christ’s gift. Therefore He says: “When He ascended on high, He led captivity captive, And gave gifts to men.” (Now this, “He ascended”—what does it mean but that He also first descended into the lower parts of the earth? He who descended is also the One who ascended far above all the heavens, that He might fill all things.) And He Himself gave some to  be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ— from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.

This I say, therefore, and testify in the Lord, that you should no longer walk as the rest of the Gentiles walk, in the futility of their mind, having their understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God, because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart; who, being past feeling, have given themselves over to lewdness, to work all uncleanness with greediness. But you have not so learned Christ, if indeed you have heard Him and have been taught by Him, as the truth is in Jesus: that you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts, and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.

Therefore, putting away lying, “ Let each one of  you speak truth with his neighbor,” for we are members of one another. “Be angry, and do not sin”: do not let the sun go down on your wrath, nor give place to the devil.
Let him who stole steal no longer, but rather let him labor, working with his hands what is good, that he may have something to give him who has need.
Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers.

And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.

Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.

Jacob looked at Joseph and saw a good son!
The ten brothers looked at Joseph and saw a useless dreamer!
The travellers looked at Joseph and saw a slave!!
Potiphar looked at Joseph and saw a fine servant!!
Potiphar's wife looked at Joseph and saw a potential boyfriend!
The prison officers saw in Joseph a prisoner!

How wrong were all of them! God looked at Joseph and saw a Prime Minister of Egypt in waiting!! Don't be discouraged by what people see in you!!

Be encouraged by what God sees in you!!

Never underrate the person next to you because you never know what the Lord has deposited in that person. Your maid may be a Chief Executive Officer in waiting for a company which shall employ your child. Your garden-boy may be a president in waiting. Remember David got the anointing of becoming a King while he was a simple child herding sheep. Esther was a simple orphaned girl yet she was a Queen in waiting.

I see in you a great personality with a bright future because you're a child of God. I'm proud of you.
Don't let anyone look down on you because you're young or poor or struggling at the moment. This is not the end of the road for you.
You're a walking miracle! Don't ever forget this amazing facts about who you are in God's sight.

This post was written by a friend Rikwense Muri (Facebook/rikmuri). It inspired me and I want to share this with you. Don't judge yourself by your current situation, stay focused, be persistent... it will end in praise.

Psalms 95:1-8 NKJV

1 Oh come, let us sing to the Lord! Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation.
2 Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; Let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms.
3 For the Lord  is the great God, And the great King above all gods.
4 In His hand are the deep places of the earth; The heights of the hills are His also.
5 The sea is His, for He made it; And His hands formed the dry land.
6 Oh come, let us worship and bow down; Let us kneel before the Lord our Maker.
7 For He is our God, And we are the people of His pasture, And the sheep of His hand. Today, if you will hear His voice:
8 “Do not harden your hearts, as in the rebellion, As in the day of trial in the wilderness,

Psalms 91:9-16 NKJV

9  Because you have made the Lord, who  is  my refuge, Even the Most High, your dwelling place,
 10 No evil shall befall you, Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling;
11 For He shall give His angels charge over you, To keep you in all your ways.
12 In their hands they shall bear you up, Lest you dash your foot against a stone.
13 You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra, The young lion and the serpent you shall trample underfoot.

14 “Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him on high, because he has known My name.
15 He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will  be  with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him.
16 With long life I will satisfy him, And show him My salvation.”

Have a wonderful day.

Deuteronomy 28:12 NKJV

The Lord will open to you His good treasure, the heavens, to give the rain to your land in its season, and to bless all the work of your hand. You shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow.

Matthew 18:21-35 NKJV
21 Then Peter came to Him and said, “Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Up to seven times?”
22 Jesus said to him, “I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven.
23 Therefore the kingdom of heaven is like a certain king who wanted to settle accounts with his servants.
24 And when he had begun to settle accounts, one was brought to him who owed him ten thousand talents.
25 But as he was not able to pay, his master commanded that he be sold, with his wife and children and all that he had, and that payment be made.
26 The servant therefore fell down before him, saying, ‘Master, have patience with me, and I will pay you all.’
27 Then the master of that servant was moved with compassion, released him, and forgave him the debt.
28 “But that servant went out and found one of his fellow servants who owed him a hundred denarii; and he laid hands on him and took him by the throat, saying, ‘Pay me what you owe!’
29 So his fellow servant fell down at his feet and begged him, saying, ‘Have patience with me, and I will pay you all.’
30 And he would not, but went and threw him into prison till he should pay the debt.
31 So when his fellow servants saw what had been done, they were very grieved, and came and told their master all that had been done.
32 Then his master, after he had called him, said to him, ‘You wicked servant! I forgave you all that debt because you begged me.
33 Should you not also have had compassion on your fellow servant, just as I had pity on you?’
34 And his master was angry, and delivered him to the torturers until he should pay all that was due to him.
35 “So My heavenly Father also will do to you if each of you, from his heart, does not forgive his brother his trespasses.”

From this parable, two debtors were mentioned, both debtors were servants, the first debtor was owing 10,000 Talents while the second debtor was owning 100 Denarii. The question that came to my mind is; "How many denarius is equal to one Talent?" After surfing the internet for answers, I was able to find out that 1Talent = 6,000 Denarii and 1Denarius=1 day wage.

Let us do some mathematics here.

The second debtor is owing the first servant a 100 Denarii which means one hundred days wage (if he's saving his wage everyday without spending from it, he will be able to pay his debt in 3months and 10 days).

On the other hand the first debtor is owing the Master (Master of both servants) a sum of 10,000 Talents which is equal to (10,000 x 6000) Denarii = 60,000,000 Denarii. If 1 Denarius is a day wage, the first servant will be able to pay the Master His debt in about 165,000 years (if he's saving his wage everyday without spending from it).... The magnitude of his debt can be felt when the master ordered that; He (the Servant), His wife, His children and all He had should be sold to pay His debt.....(Matthew 18:25).

He pleaded with with the Master, the Master had compassion on Him and all His debt was, what a compassionate and a merciful Master.

I can imagine the joy on his face as he leaves the Master's presence, I can picture how his countenance changed immediately he spotted his fellow servant who his owing him a 100 Denarii. The bible says "he laid hands on him and took him by the throat, saying, ‘Pay me what you owe!’" the second debtor fell at his feet and beg that he should give him some times that he will pay all (Just like the first servant begged the master). But the first debtor (whose debt has been forgiven) went and lock the second debtor up in the prison.....huh!!!

1. God so much love us (very compassionate and merciful to all sinners who turn to him) that He gave His only Begotten son to die for our sins so that we can live in life eternal. The magnitude of the price paid by Jesus Christ (Who did not commit any sin) on the Cross for the sins you and I committed shows the the kind of debt we actually owed.
That price was paid so that we sinners can be called the sons and daughters of God.

See also this article: (AGONY OF ABRAHAM) especially, "THE ULTIMATE PRICE PAID" part of the article.

2. If God is so merciful to us, we ought to be merciful to each other. We were once sinners, but through the blood of Jesus we have been redeemed. If we see another human like us who has offended us, we should do everything possible to forgive such a person, not because they deserve it but because we have also experienced forgiveness of sins from God when we least deserved it.

3. The first servant desired that his own debtor should be put in the prison till all His debt has been paid... From my own calculation, the second debtor will only be in the prison for only 3months and 10 days (or maximum of four months). The lesson here is, the moment we desire not to forgive people who offends us, we also automatically becomes a sinner before God again. And see the Master's judgement; the first servant should be TORTURED until he should pay what was due to him. From our calculation above, that means about 165,000 years of Torture (I call this, "Eternal Punishment"). Why should we suffer eternal punishment because we couldn't forgive?

Father Lord God Almighty, we appreciate the love you have bestowed upon us by wiping our garments clean of sin, hereby making us you precious sons and daughters.

We pray at this moment that you give us a very compassionate and merciful heart like Yours, so that we will be able to forgive all our offenders without hold a grudge.

In the Mighty name of Jesus we pray.

Matthew 18:6-7 NKJV

6 “Whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to sin, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were drowned in the depth of the sea.
7 Woe to the world because of offenses! For offenses must come, but woe to that man by whom the offense comes!

Surely offenses must come, but woe to the man by whom the offenses comes! Let's get this very clear; what exactly is the definition of offence? A quick Google search gave me this definition and I think it clearly explain what Jesus was saying here. Offence was defined as a breach of a law or rule; an illegal act (Google definition of offence). This definition can also be called "Sin" in a simple term.

From the definition above I can understand verse 7 as "woe to the world because of sin, for sin must come, but woe to the man by whom the sin comes!"

When I read this bible text today I saw this great warning and I want us all to ponder on it. Its a grievous offence to cause someone to sin, Jesus said "it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were drowned in the depth of the sea." We can see the magnitude of that offence itself.

Image of millstone (adapted from Wikimedia)

When I took my time to meditate on this text then I realized "causing you neighbor to sin is just like you are an undercover agent, working in the secret service department, for the devil." The devil is the originator of sin and he is doing everything possible to cause people to sin.

It is an offence to be a sinner, it is worse when you cause people to sin. The question that came to my mind is; "in what ways do we cause people to sin?"

1. Directly: I remembered when I was growing up. There are times when our parents warn us about certain things but we will end up doing what they asked us not to do, but because we do not want to be punished alone, we will look for a way of luring another sibling to commit the same offence......I think this also happens in schools and so on.

The direct says we cause people to sin happens when we deliberately lure someone to commit an offence so that he or she may be unworthy.

2. Indirectly: This happens when you cause someone to sin and you do not know you are causing another person to sin. This time around, you are not deliberately luring another person to sin but probably your ways of life or the  way you interact with the people around you is actually having a negative impact on them.

Imagine a man making a phone call in his sitting room and he was telling the person on the other end of the phone that; he is not at home (probably because he doesn't want to entertain visitors so that he will spend quality time with his family). The young child in the sitting room with his dad will feel like, it is not bad to tell a lie.... See (OUR LIVES ARE THE ONLY BIBLE SOME PEOPLE READS)

The bible says "woe to the world because of offenses (sin), for offenses (sins) must come, but woe to the man by whom the offenses (sins) comes! Let us think deep about this, check our lives  and see the ways where we are making people around us to sin. Let us make amendments, by forsaking our evil ways and by bringing people back to God.

It is well!!!

Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 NKJV

9 Two are better than one, Because they have a good reward for their labor.
10 For if they fall, one will lift up his companion. But woe to him who  is alone when he falls, For he has no one to help him up.
11 Again, if two lie down together, they will keep warm; But how can one be warm alone?
12 Though one may be overpowered by another, two can withstand him. And a threefold cord is not quickly broken.

These bible verses are for all Christians on the journey of faith. We should not forsake the assembly of the righteous, neither should we walk alone in the journey of faith alone....Ecclesiastes 4:10 explained that if they fall, one will lift the other. Woe to him who is alone, if He falls, he has no one to help him.

Another bible verse to further show the importance of walking together in faith can be seen in the book of Matthew 18:19-20 NKJV“Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven.  For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.”

There are other Bible verses or personal experience that you will like to share with other people, kindly use the comment box. This is also part of walking together in faith.

Thank you and have a great day.

Psalms 5:1-12 NKJV

1 Give ear to my words, O Lord , Consider my meditation.
2 Give heed to the voice of my cry, My King and my God, For to You I will pray.
3 My voice You shall hear in the morning, O Lord ; In the morning I will direct it to You, And I will look up.
4 For You are not a God who takes pleasure in wickedness, Nor shall evil dwell with You.
5 The boastful shall not stand in Your sight; You hate all workers of iniquity.
6 You shall destroy those who speak falsehood; The Lord abhors the bloodthirsty and deceitful man.
7 But as for me, I will come into Your house in the multitude of Your mercy; In fear of You I will worship toward Your holy temple.
8 Lead me, O Lord , in Your righteousness because of my enemies; Make Your way straight before my face.
9 For there  is no faithfulness in their mouth; Their inward part is destruction; Their throat is an open tomb; They flatter with their tongue.
10 Pronounce them guilty, O God! Let them fall by their own counsels; Cast them out in the multitude of their transgressions, For they have rebelled against You.
11 But let all those rejoice who put their trust in You; Let them ever shout for joy, because You defend them; Let those also who love Your name Be joyful in You.
12 For You, O Lord , will bless the righteous; With favor You will surround him as with a shield.

Have a wonderful day.

Luke 23:39-43 NKJV

39 Then one of the criminals who were hanged blasphemed Him, saying, “If You are the Christ, save Yourself and us.”
40 But the other, answering, rebuked him, saying, “Do you not even fear God, seeing you are under the same condemnation?
41 And we indeed justly, for we receive the due reward of our deeds; but this Man has done nothing wrong.”
42 Then he said to Jesus, “Lord, remember me when You come into Your kingdom.”
43 And Jesus said to him, “Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise.”

I am not encouraging you to wait for the last minute before you humble yourself before God. A lot of people have heard the gospel and they made up their minds to enjoy the worldly pleasure a little bit more, having it in mind that when they grow old or at the point of death, they will accept the Lord. Its so sad that many people like that lost their life to unexpected deaths and there was no chance for them

This particular bible verses however showed the salvation that was earned at the very last minutes. It was a great opportunity for two criminals to make it to heaven that day, but to show us "salvation at the very last minute is risky", one of the criminals could not make it to heaven, due to arrogance and unbelief.

Salvation for the saved criminal came because he was HUMBLE, he SAW HIMSELF AS A SINNER, he BELIEVED JESUS and CONFESSED JESUS as the blameless lamb of God who came to take away the sins of the whole world, and finally, he made a plea "LORD REMEMBER ME WHEN YOU COME INTO YOUR KINGDOM"

This message may come to you as someone full of life and it appear the days ahead are still bright....have this at the back of your mind, no one knows the day and time the Lord will return, even at that, the end may come to us at any time, so do not delay your salvation.

This message may also come to you when your days appeared to be numbered, maybe you have been diagnosed with a terminal disease, maybe you are a victim of an accident and your chance of survival is 50/50, and so on.... Now is the time for your salvation, see yourself as a sinner that you are, acknowledged Jesus as the blameless Son of God that He is, Humble yourself before Him and Invite Him into your life and it shall be well with you.

Try to share this message with as many pepole as possible, the end may come to any one at any time, this message may save a soul. The Lord will have mercy on all of us

Luke 19:1-10 NKJV
1 Then Jesus entered and passed through Jericho.
2 Now behold, there  was a man named Zacchaeus who was a chief tax collector, and he was rich.
3 And he sought to see who Jesus was, but could not because of the crowd, for he was of short stature.
4 So he ran ahead and climbed up into a sycamore tree to see Him, for He was going to pass that way.
5 And when Jesus came to the place, He looked up and saw him, and said to him, “Zacchaeus, make haste and come down, for today I must stay at your house.”
6 So he made haste and came down, and received Him joyfully.
7 But when they saw it, they all complained, saying, “He has gone to be a guest with a man who is a sinner.”
8 Then Zacchaeus stood and said to the Lord, “Look, Lord, I give half of my goods to the poor; and if I have taken anything from anyone by false accusation, I restore fourfold.”
 9 And Jesus said to him, “Today salvation has come to this house, because he also is a son of Abraham;
10 for the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.

1. YOU MUST SEEK TO SEE JESUS: He was a tax collector and people of those days see them as sinners because they have been know for exploiting people. Among all the tax collectors in the time of Jesus,  Zacchaeus was recorded to have a desire to see Jesus (the only begotten son of God sent to the world to take away our sins). Verse 3 of this chapter recorded that Zacchaeus, the chief tax collector sought to see who the Lamb of God was. What a great desire!!!
As a sinner, you must also desire to see the Lord, to have encounters with your maker.
2. YOU MUST MAKE EFFORTS TO OVERCOME ALL OBSTACLES PREVENTING YOU TO SEE JESUS: The bible recorded that Zacchaeus was a man of small stature, he sought to see Jesus but could not for he was of short stature so he ran ahead and climb up into a Sycamore tree to see Him for He was going to pass that way.
I can imagine a rich man in that time, the chief of tax collectors, probably someone who does not know how to climb a tree but on this day putting behind his social economic status and clinging to the branches of sycamore tree, so that he will be high above the crowd and He will see the Lord. What an effort!!!
For a sinner who desire to see the Lord, there will also be a lot of Obstacles that will try to prevent you, but it is your duty to make efforts to achieve your desires to see the Lord
3. DO NOT REJECT THE LORD'S OFFER TO VISIT YOU: Believe me, the Lord sees every heart and He knows every heart desires. Zacchaeus desired to see the Lord and the Jesus knows the effort the small stature man has made to see Him, therefore He offered to visit Him in his house and Zacchaeus didn't object the offer. He Joyfully received Jesus.
Even you as a sinner, who desires to see the Lord, whenever the message come to you asking you to open the door of your heart for Jesus to come in (as seen in Revelation 3:20) do not reject the offer.
4. PUBLICLY RENOUNCE YOUR EVIL WAYS AND PUBLICLY ANNOUNCE THAT YOU WILL MAKE AMENDMENTS: You have to openly renounce you evil ways just like Zacchaeus, forsake them and promise God you will make a change just like Zacchaeus.
5. YOUR SALVATION WILL BE COMPLETED: The day you encounter the Lord, you accepted His invitation to come to your heart, you confess your evil ways and you openly announce your desires to make amendments is the same day of your salvation.

God bless you.

I sing the mighty power of God,
  That make the mountain rise,
That spread the flowing seas abroad,
  And build the lofty skies;
I sing the Wisdom that ordained
  The sun to rule the day;
The moon shines full at His command,
  And all the stars obey.

I sing the goodness of the Lord,
  That filled the earth with food;
He formed the creatures with His word,
  And then pronounce them good.
Lord, how Thy wonders are displayed
  Where'er I turn my eye!
If I survey the ground I tread,
  Or gaze upon the sky!

There's not a plant or flower below
  But makes Thy glories known;
And cloud arise and tempest blow,
  By order from Thy throne.
Creatures that burrow life from Thee
  Are subject to Thy care;
There's not a place where we can flee
  But God is present there.

There was a flood in a village.

One man said to everyone, “I’ll stay! God will save me!”

The flood got higher and a boat came and the man in it said “Come on mate, get in!”

“No” replied the man. God will save me!

The flood got very high now and the man had to stand on the roof of his house.

A helicopter soon came and the man offered him help.“

No, God will save me!” he said

Eventually he died by drowning.

He got by the gates of heaven and he said to God “Why didn’t you save me?”

God replied, “For goodness sake! I sent a boat and a helicopter. What more do you want!”

I actually read this on a joke site (Really funny jokes) and it was titled "the most stupid man on earth"

This is very funny, but there is a
lesson for all Christians. When we pray and we believe God, we shouldn't forget that it is people around us that God will use to answer our prayers.
