Proverbs 22:17-19 NKJV

  Incline your ear and hear the words of the wise, And apply your heart to my knowledge;
  For it  is a pleasant thing if you keep them within you;
  Let them all be fixed upon your lips, So that your trust may be in the Lord ;

I have instructed you today, even you.

Romans 8:31-39 NKJV

What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? (NOBODY)

He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? (SO, DO NOT WORRY)

Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It  is God who justifies. Who is he who condemns? It  is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us. (NO CHARGES AND NO CONDEMNATIONS, JUST STAY HOLY)

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? (GOD FORBID)

As it is written: “For Your sake we are killed all day long; We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.” Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Luke 11:5-13 NKJV

  And He said to them, “Which of you shall have a friend, and go to him at midnight and say to him, ‘Friend, lend me three loaves;  for a friend of mine has come to me on his journey, and I have nothing to set before him’;  and he will answer from within and say, ‘Do not trouble me; the door is now shut, and my children are with me in bed; I cannot rise and give to you’?

  I say to you, though he will not rise and give to him because he is his friend, yet because of his persistence he will rise and give him as many as he needs.

  “So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.  For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. If a son asks for bread from any father among you, will he give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent instead of a fish? Or if he asks for an egg, will he offer him a scorpion?  If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!”

I Chronicles 29:10-13 NKJV

 10 Therefore David blessed the Lord before all the assembly; and David said: “Blessed are You, Lord God of Israel, our Father, forever and ever.
 11 Yours, O Lord , is the greatness, The power and the glory, The victory and the majesty; For all that  is in heaven and in earth is Yours; Yours is the kingdom, O Lord, And You are exalted as head over all.
 12 Both riches and honor come from You, And You reign over all. In Your hand is power and might; In Your hand it is to make great And to give strength to all.
 13 “Now therefore, our God, We thank You And praise Your glorious name.

I Samuel 16:1-13 NKJV

 1 Now the Lord said to Samuel, “How long will you mourn for Saul, seeing I have rejected him from reigning over Israel? Fill your horn with oil, and go; I am sending you to Jesse the Bethlehemite. For I have provided Myself a king among his sons.”
 2 And Samuel said, “How can I go? If Saul hears it, he will kill me.” But the Lord said, “Take a heifer with you, and say, ‘I have come to sacrifice to the Lord .’
 3 Then invite Jesse to the sacrifice, and I will show you what you shall do; you shall anoint for Me the one I name to you.”
 4 So Samuel did what the Lord said, and went to Bethlehem. And the elders of the town trembled at his coming, and said, “Do you come peaceably?”
 5 And he said, “Peaceably; I have come to sacrifice to the Lord . Sanctify yourselves, and come with me to the sacrifice.” Then he consecrated Jesse and his sons, and invited them to the sacrifice.
 6 So it was, when they came, that he looked at Eliab and said, “Surely the Lord ’s anointed is before Him!”
 7 But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look at his appearance or at his physical stature, because I have refused him. For the  Lord  does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”
 8 So Jesse called Abinadab, and made him pass before Samuel. And he said, “Neither has the Lord chosen this one.”
 9 Then Jesse made Shammah pass by. And he said, “Neither has the Lord chosen this one.”
 10 Thus Jesse made seven of his sons pass before Samuel. And Samuel said to Jesse, “The Lord has not chosen these.”
 11 And Samuel said to Jesse, “Are all the young men here?” Then he said, “There remains yet the youngest, and there he is, keeping the sheep.” And Samuel said to Jesse, “Send and bring him. For we will not sit down till he comes here.”
 12 So he sent and brought him in. Now he was  ruddy, with bright eyes, and good-looking. And the Lord said, “Arise, anoint him; for this is the one!”
 13 Then Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him in the midst of his brothers; and the Spirit of the Lord came upon David from that day forward. So Samuel arose and went to Ramah.

 Some times, we look at people and we judge them based on their physical appearance. Some we accept and some we reject. Even a faithful prophet in Isreal (Samuel) was wrong in his judgement by merely looking at the physical appearance.

Many of us have been deceived because of physical appearances, some times we have rejected who we are suppose to accept and sometimes we have accepted the set of people we are supposed to reject all because of physical appearances, ethnicity, race and so on.

What the Lord told Samuel is still applicable to us "For the  Lord  does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart."

See Jesus' warning here "Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. Matthew 7:15 NKJV"

The message here is; do not be deceived, do not reject or accept based on physical appearance or based on what you see. You cannot see people's heart only God can. A lot of ravenous wolves are out there presenting themselves to be ministers of God and a whole lot of people are out there that we are not seeing as sheep due to their race, ethnicity, or physical appearance but their hearts are very acceptable to God.

Always commit your ways to God, let him always lead you and your judgements and we will not make mistakes. God does not see as man sees, we look at the physical appearance but He sees the heart.

Have a wonderful day.

Numbers 6:24-26 NKJV

“The Lord  bless you and keep you; The Lord  make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you; The Lord lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace.” ’

Psalms 29:1-11 NKJV

 1 Give unto the Lord , O you mighty ones, Give unto the Lord glory and strength.
 2 Give unto the Lord the glory due to His name; Worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.
 3 The voice of the Lord  is over the waters; The God of glory thunders; The Lord  is over many waters.
 4 The voice of the Lord  is powerful; The voice of the Lord  is full of majesty.
 5 The voice of the Lord breaks the cedars, Yes, the Lord splinters the cedars of Lebanon.
 6 He makes them also skip like a calf, Lebanon and Sirion like a young wild ox.
 7 The voice of the Lord divides the flames of fire.
 8 The voice of the Lord shakes the wilderness; The Lord shakes the Wilderness of Kadesh.
 9 The voice of the Lord makes the deer give birth, And strips the forests bare; And in His temple everyone says, “Glory!”
 10 The Lord sat enthroned at the Flood, And the Lord sits as King forever.
 11 The Lord will give strength to His people; The Lord will bless His people with peace.

This Bible verses are telling us how powerful the voice of the Lord is. "The voice of the Lord is powerful and full of Majesty".
The voice of the Lord can make and it can destroy. The voice of the Lord can make a way in the wilderness, it can pass through fire, and the voice of the Lord can give life "the voice of the Lord makes a deer give birth"

Are you barren? At the voice of the Lord, you will have children. Are you lost and confused? At the voice of the Lord, there will be a way and God will make everything clear. Are you in bondage of sin or in the shackles of the enemies? The voice of the Lord is able to divides the flames of fire, so it will deliver you and break your shackles.

The Lord is most powerful, He is King and He sits on the throne forever. The lord will give strength to His people and He will bless His people with peace forever. He is a loving God, He loves us and He wants to satisfy us with peace of mind.

Today we are going to pray. Let us pray that the Lord should speak to our current situations and at the sound of His voice we shall experience breakthroughs.

- At the voice of the Lord, there will be fountains of water for us in the desert.
- At the voice of the Lord, we will walk on the sea and its waves as if its a dry land
- At the voice of the Lord we will have financial breakthroughs
- At the voice of the Lord our enemies shall be destroyed
- At the voice of the Lord, a barren womb shall conceive and deliver
- At the voice of the Lord you and I will do great and mighty things
- At the voice of the Lord, that terminal disease in your body will disappear...

What are you passing through? Look deep down within you, what looks impossible to you? Pray to the Lord of Host today, ask God to speak to that particular situation, and at the Voice of God you shall be delivered in Jesus name.

After your prayers, have faith that the Lord will speak to your situation. Do not forget to end your prayers with thanksgiving. See verses 1 & 2. Give unto the Lord , O you mighty ones, Give unto the Lord glory and strength. Give unto the Lord the glory due to His name; Worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.

The Lord will answer your prayers and there will be testimonies in Jesus name.

Have a wonderful day.

Isaiah 40:28-31 NKJV

 28 Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the Lord , The Creator of the ends of the earth, Neither faints nor is weary. His understanding is unsearchable.
 29 He gives power to the weak, And to those who have no might He increases strength.
 30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, And the young men shall utterly fall,
 31 But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.

Look around you, a lot are really happening around us, News of Terrorism, News of Natural disasters and so on. All these are pointing to the end time warning that Jesus gave.

 3 Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be? And what will  be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?”
 4 And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you.
 5 For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many.
 6 And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all  these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
 7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places.
 8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.
 9 “Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake.
 10 And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another.
 11 Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many.
 12 And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.
 13 But he who endures to the end shall be saved.
 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.
Matthew 24:3-14 NKJV

In times like these you need a Savior,
In times like these you need and anchor;
Be very sure, be very sure Your anchor holds and grips the Solid rock!
This Rock is Jesus, Yes, He’s the One;
This Rock is Jesus, The only One!
Be very sure, be very sure Your anchor holds and grips the Solid rock!
In times like these you need the Bible,
In times like these O be not idle;
Be very sure, be very sure Your anchor holds and grips the Solid rock!
This Rock is Jesus, Yes, He’s the One;
This Rock is Jesus, The only One!
Be very sure, be very sure Your anchor holds and grips the Solid rock!
In times like these I have a Savior,
In times like these I have an anchor
I’m very sure, be very sure Your anchor holds and grips the Solid rock!
This Rock is Jesus, Yes, He’s the One;
This Rock is Jesus, The only One!
I’m very sure, be very sure Your anchor holds and grips the Solid rock!
The message in this Hymn is also applicable when you being tempted or when your heart is broken, whenever you are facing tribulations or any forms of storms of life.

The message here is; you should hold on to Jesus, do not look somewhere else for answers. Let you anchor steadfastly hold on to Jesus and it shall be well with you.

II Corinthians 13:14 NKJV

GRACE (in Christian belief) is the free and unmerited favour of God, as manifested in the salvation of sinners and the bestowal of blessings.
LOVE is the benevolent affection of God for His creatures, or the reverent affection due from them to God.
COMMUNION is the sharing or exchanging of intimate thoughts and feelings, especially on a mental or spiritual level.

This is a powerful prayer for all of us;
May the GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ
The LOVE of God and
The COMMUNION of the Holy Spirit
Be with you all.

Every time you say this prayer, this is exactly what you are praying for;

May the free, unmerited favour & bestowal of His blessings of our Lord Jesus Christ,
The benevolent affection of God for us and
The sharing of our intimate thoughts & feelings with the Holy Spirit;
Be our daily experience now and forever

I pray that the Grace of Jesus, the Love of God and the Communion of the Holy Spirit will be our daily experience in Jesus Name.

Ecclesiastes 9:1-12 NKJV

For I considered all this in my heart, so that I could declare it all: that the righteous and the wise and their works are in the hand of God. People know neither love nor hatred by anything they see before them. All things come alike to all:
One event happens to the righteous and the wicked;
To the good, the clean, and the unclean;
To him who sacrifices and him who does not sacrifice.
As is the good, so is the sinner;
He who takes an oath as he who fears an oath.
This is an evil in all that is done under the sun: that one thing happens to all. Truly the hearts of the sons of men are full of evil; madness is in their hearts while they live, and after that they go to the dead. But for him who is joined to all the living there is hope, for a living dog is better than a dead lion.
For the living know that they will die;
But the dead know nothing,
And they have no more reward,
For the memory of them is forgotten.
Also their love, their hatred, and their envy have now perished;
Nevermore will they have a share
In anything done under the sun.
Go, eat your bread with joy,
And drink your wine with a merry heart;
For God has already accepted your works.
Let your garments always be white,
And let your head lack no oil.
Live joyfully with the wife whom you love all the days of your vain life which He has given you under the sun, all your days of vanity; for that is your portion in life, and in the labor which you perform under the sun.
10 Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might; for there is no work or device or knowledge or wisdom in the grave where you are going.
11 I returned and saw under the sun that—
The race is not to the swift,
Nor the battle to the strong,
Nor bread to the wise,
Nor riches to men of understanding,
Nor favor to men of skill;
But time and chance happen to them all.
12 For man also does not know his time:
Like fish taken in a cruel net,
Like birds caught in a snare,
So the sons of men are snared in an evil time,
When it falls suddenly upon them.

This particular chapter in the bible is neither to scare us that we will all die one day nor to encourage us to live a wayward life because death is befalls both the righteous and the unrighteous. But this chapter is to remind us that we will all die one day, however, we still have hopes while we are alive (But for him who is joined to all the living there is hope). Hope for what? Hope for life after death.

As fishes are not aware they will be caught in the net, as birds are not aware that they will be caught in the snare, as animals are not aware they will be caught in the trap; that same way is the way death comes to all. Death comes when no one is expecting it and of course, there is no way to make our wayward ways right before God after death. This is why verse 4 said "But for him who is joined to all the living there is hope for a living dog is better than a dead lion." Therefore, the opportunity of being alive should not be under-utilized, we should always use this opportunity to keep our garments white before God.

While we were encouraged to enjoy our lives and make merry with it in verse 7, verse 8 clearly instructed us to always let our garments be white (stay righteous before God always) and let our heads lack no oil.

May the good Lord help us to always stay strong in Him and while we run this race we will always find favor before God.
Thank you for reading.
Have a blessed day.

Genesis 19:12-26 NKJV
 12 Then the men said to Lot, “Have you anyone else here? Son-in-law, your sons, your daughters, and whomever you have in the city— take them out of this place!
 13 For we will destroy this place, because the outcry against them has grown great before the face of the Lord , and the Lord has sent us to destroy it.”
 14 So Lot went out and spoke to his sons-in-law, who had married his daughters, and said, “Get up, get out of this place; for the Lord will destroy this city!” But to his sons-in-law he seemed to be joking.
 15 When the morning dawned, the angels urged Lot to hurry, saying, “Arise, take your wife and your two daughters who are here, lest you be consumed in the punishment of the city.”
 16 And while he lingered, the men took hold of his hand, his wife’s hand, and the hands of his two daughters, the Lord being merciful to him, and they brought him out and set him outside the city.
 17 So it came to pass, when they had brought them outside, that he said, “Escape for your life! Do not look behind you nor stay anywhere in the plain. Escape to the mountains, lest you be destroyed.”
 18 Then Lot said to them, “Please, no, my Lords!
 19 Indeed now, your servant has found favor in your sight, and you have increased your mercy which you have shown me by saving my life; but I cannot escape to the mountains, lest some evil overtake me and I die.
 20 See now, this city is near enough to flee to, and it is a little one; please let me escape there ( is it not a little one?) and my soul shall live.”
 21 And he said to him, “See, I have favored you concerning this thing also, in that I will not overthrow this city for which you have spoken.
 22 Hurry, escape there. For I cannot do anything until you arrive there.” Therefore the name of the city was called Zoar.
 23 The sun had risen upon the earth when Lot entered Zoar.
 24 Then the Lord rained brimstone and fire on Sodom and Gomorrah, from the Lord out of the heavens.
 25 So He overthrew those cities, all the plain, all the inhabitants of the cities, and what grew on the ground.
 26 But his wife looked back behind him, and she became a pillar of salt.

While studying the bible early this morning, I came to this story about the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah. I was able to learn some lessons and that’s what I want to share with you

1. THE FINAL WARNING BEFORE THE DESTRUCTION: The angels of God told Lot that the outcry of the people has reached the Lord and they have been sent to destroy the cities. Therefore, they said to Lot, is there anyone else you have in the city? Take them out of here (verse 12). This same final warning applies to us, we all know the world is gradually coming to an end, we ought to bring our loved ones out of the coming destruction by preaching the Gospel to them.
2. NEVER TAKE THE GOSPEL WITH LEVITY: The sons-in-law would have been saved from the coming destruction if they heed their Father-in-law (Verse 14). Through my rational thinking, I have this feelings that Lot lost his daughters who were married alongside the sons-in-law in the destruction. Verse 16 says, the angel took Lot, His wife and His two daughters out of the city. These two daughters were the one Lot offered the men of Sodom and Gomorrah for them to use a night before. See now, I have two daughters who have not known a man; please, let me bring them out to you, and you may do to them as you wish; only do nothing to these men, since this is the reason they have come under the shadow of my roof.” Genesis 19:8 NKJV. These are obviously the daughters who are married. Salvation of the father cannot save the daughters nor the sons-in-law. If you have to be saved, you have to make a move to save your own life too.
3. DO NOT REMAIN IN SIN: As soon as you hear the Gospel of God, please take heed. Do lot remain in sin. Leave your former life and follow the instructions of God from the bible and you will be saved from the coming destruction.
4. DO NOT LOOK BACK: Once you have been saved, let nothing take you back to your former life. I do not know what made Mrs Lot look back, but what is very obvious here is, she disobeyed the instructions of God. We also have our instructions in the Bible. If you want to be saved, leave all you have, take up your cross and follow Jesus. Let nothing make you go back to your former life from the moment you become saved. It is very dangerous.

These were just few from the lessons I was able to learn from this story today. If you find this very helpful, kindly share with your friend.

God bless you.
Have a wonderful day.

Hosea 14:9 NKJV

Who is wise?
Let him understand these things.
Who  is prudent?
Let him know them.
  For the ways of the Lord  are right; The righteous walk in them, But transgressors stumble in them.

The question now is; do we walk in them or we stumble in them?
Think deep about it.
Have a great day.

I John 3:16-23 NKJV

 16 By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
 17 But whoever has this world’s goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him?
 18 My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth.
 19 And by this we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before Him.
 20 For if our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and knows all things.
 21 Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence toward God.
 22 And whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight.
 23 And this is His commandment: that we should believe on the name of His Son Jesus Christ and love one another, as He gave us commandment.

Hebrews 3:7-15 NKJV

  Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says: “Today, if you will hear His voice, Do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion, In the day of trial in the wilderness, Where your fathers tested Me, tried Me, And saw My works forty years.
  Therefore I was angry with that generation, And said, ‘They always go astray in their heart, And they have not known My ways.’ So I swore in My wrath, ‘They shall not enter My rest.’ ”
  Beware, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the living God; but exhort one another daily, while it is called “Today,” lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.
  For we have become partakers of Christ if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast to the end, while it is said: “Today, if you will hear His voice, Do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion.”

John 8:1-12 NKJV

  But Jesus went to the Mount of Olives. Now early in the morning He came again into the temple, and all the people came to Him; and He sat down and taught them.
  Then the scribes and Pharisees brought to Him a woman caught in adultery. And when they had set her in the midst, they said to Him, “Teacher, this woman was caught in adultery, in the very act. Now Moses, in the law, commanded us that such should be stoned. But what do You say?” This they said, testing Him, that they might have something of which to accuse Him.
  But Jesus stooped down and wrote on the ground with His finger, as though He did not hear. So when they continued asking Him, He raised Himself up and said to them, “He who is without sin among you, let him throw a stone at her first.” And again He stooped down and wrote on the ground.
  Then those who heard it,  being convicted by their conscience, went out one by one, beginning with the oldest even to the last. And Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst.
  When Jesus had raised Himself up and saw no one but the woman, He said to her, “Woman, where are those accusers of yours? Has no one condemned you?” She said, “No one, Lord.” And Jesus said to her, “Neither do I condemn you; go and  sin no more.”
  Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”

  Jesus want the accusers to know that no one is perfect. The law of God is there, but God has not made us judge over each other. Many of us finds joy in looking for faults in people and we try to bring them to judgement by ourselves. Before you look for faults in people, ask yourself if you are perfect.

He who is without sin among you, let him throw a stone at her first.

Thank you for reading, you can leave your comments
Have a great day.

I Peter 2:9-10 NKJV

But you are a chosen generation,
a royal priesthood,
a holy nation,
His own special people,

That you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;
who once were not a people but are now the people of God,
who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy.

God has done so much for us and we ought to proclaim His praises forever. He choose us, He made us Royal priesthoods (of Heavenly Kingdom), He made us a Holy Nation and His own special people.

When we were lost He saved us and He made us His people (now we are the people of God), He brought us out of the darkness of this world into His own marvelous light. A lot of people are out there in the world who are very lost, but we have obtained mercy from God

We ought to think about who we were and who we are now. We ought to think about the hopelessness of our former life and our future hope of reigning with the King of Glory. We ought to think about the Priceless sacrifice He made on our behalf so that we will be saved (See: the ultimate price paid.) From all these deep thoughts we will see that we have a role to play; PROCLAIM THE PRAISES OF THE GOD WHO HAS DONE SO MUCH FOR US.

Gone are the days when we offer sacrifices, God does not eat, He does not drink, the only thing He want from us is out grateful hearts, our praises and our Thanksgiving. Proclaim the praises of God and You will experience more of HIM.

Have a wonderful day.

Psalms 66:1-20 NKJV

 Make a joyful shout to God, all the earth! Sing out the honor of His name; Make His praise glorious. Say to God, “How awesome are Your works!
 Through the greatness of Your power Your enemies shall submit themselves to You. All the earth shall worship You And sing praises to You; They shall sing praises to Your name.”
 Come and see the works of God; He  is awesome in  His doing toward the sons of men. He turned the sea into dry land; They went through the river on foot. There we will rejoice in Him. He rules by His power forever; His eyes observe the nations; Do not let the rebellious exalt themselves.
 Oh, bless our God, you peoples! And make the voice of His praise to be heard, Who keeps our soul among the living, And does not allow our feet to be moved.
 For You, O God, have tested us; You have refined us as silver is refined. You brought us into the net; You laid affliction on our backs. You have caused men to ride over our heads; We went through fire and through water; But You brought us out to rich fulfillment.
 I will go into Your house with burnt offerings; I will pay You my vows, Which my lips have uttered And my mouth has spoken when I was in trouble. I will offer You burnt sacrifices of fat animals, With the sweet aroma of rams; I will offer bulls with goats.
 Come and hear, all you who fear God, And I will declare what He has done for my soul. I cried to Him with my mouth, And He was extolled with my tongue.
 If I regard iniquity in my heart, The Lord will not hear. But certainly God has heard me; He has attended to the voice of my prayer. Blessed be God, Who has not turned away my prayer, Nor His mercy from me!

The Lord has really done something great for me.

For about 430 by years, the children of Isreal were in bondage in the Land of Egypt. Since the death of Joseph and the reign of another Pharaoh, who does not know Joseph, the children of Isreal has been in serious labour and all they experienced was suffering upon suffering in the hand of the Egyptian. The Lord had mercy upon them, the Lord remembered the covenant of the promised land between Him and Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. It is time for Exodus.

The Lord choose Moses and He put His words in Moses' mouth to tell Pharaoh to let the people of God go to the promised land but Pharaoh refused (so that the name of God will be glorified). The Lord plagued the Entire Egypt with 10 different plagues so the Pharaoh will let the people go and after the 10th plague, there was deliverance.

The plagues; "water turned into blood" "frog" "lice" "flies" "livestocks dead" "boils" "hail" "locust" and "darkness". The amazing thing about these plagues is that it all happened throughout the land of Egypt but the part of Egypt where the people of God lives (Goshen) was not affected from the third plague till the ninth. If Goshen will be affected by the tenth plague (the death of the firstborns) all depends on if the people of God will heed the instructions of God

Exodus 12:21-25 NKJV

Then Moses called for all the elders of Israel and said to them, “Pick out and take lambs for yourselves according to your families, and kill the Passover lamb.  And you shall take a bunch of hyssop, dip it in the blood that is in the basin, and strike the lintel and the two doorposts with the blood that is in the basin. And none of you shall go out of the door of his house until morning. For the Lord will pass through to strike the Egyptians; and WHEN HE SEES THE BLOOD on the lintel and on the two doorposts, THE LORD WILL PASS OVER THE DOOR AND NOT ALLOW THE DESTROYER TO COME INTO YOUR HOUSES TO STRIKE YOU.  And you shall observe this thing as an ordinance for you and your sons forever. It will come to pass when you come to the land which the Lord will give you, just as He promised, that you shall keep this service.

THE TENTH PLAGUE (Exodus 12:28-30 NKJV)
Then the children of Israel went away and did so; just as the Lord had commanded Moses and Aaron, so they did. And it came to pass at midnight that the Lord struck all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh who sat on his throne to the firstborn of the captive who was in the dungeon, and all the firstborn of livestock. So Pharaoh rose in the night, he, all his servants, and all the Egyptians; and there was a great cry in Egypt, for there  was not a house where there  was not one dead.

We all know the story very well but let us do some reasoning here. It is not that the Lord cannot destroy the firstborns in Egypt and spare the Israelites (He has done that from the fourth plague, till the ninth plague). This time around HE gave instructions, the Instructions has to do with THE BLOOD, the blood OF A LAMB a Lamb WITHOUT BLEMISH and this is the only reason even the Israelites will be saved from the destroyer.

Come to think of it, if, for example a man in Isreal did not do what God instructed them to do with the Lamb and there was no blood on his door post, I am hundred percent sure he will be a part of the destruction. I also believed if an Egyptian saw what the Lord asked the Israelites to do and he decided to be a part of the passover, he and his family will be saved. After all Rahab, the Harlot and her family were spared in the destruction of Jericho, she not only save herself and her family, they also became part of the family of God and in the lineage of Rahab, our Lord Jesus Christ came. (SEE: An Harlot kind Gesture)

Jesus Christ is the sacrificial Lamb (without blemish) of God who takes away the sins of the whole world. Whoever sees himself as a sinner, humbles himself to plead the blood of Jesus for forgiveness of sin and with his mouth confess Jesus as the son of God and the savior of the world, shall be saved (Romans 10:9)

Just like the days of slavery of the Israelite came to an end, this world will come to an end also. Just like the Egyptians experienced plagues, our world is faced with tribulations and trials too. But the final destruction of the World is yet to come, so we all need to heed the instructions of God. We have to believe in the sinless son of God and plead His precious blood for the forgiveness of our sins and continue living a holy life. Therefore, whenever this world comes to an end whosoever has been saved by the blood of the Lamb shall be saved.

The main reason why Jesus came was to show us the love of the Father, by laying down His life for the remission of our sin. Becsuse without the sedding of the blood, there is no forgiveness (Hebrews 9:22). So, WHEN HE (GOD) SEES THE BLOOD OF JESUS AS THE ONLY CAUSE FOR OUR ATONEMENT, THE FINAL DESTRUCTION WILL PASS OVER US

Ponder on this, make your choice and please share this message with others.
God bless you.

Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:4-7 NKJV

Do all things without complaining and disputing, that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world, holding fast the word of life, so that I may rejoice in the day of Christ that I have not run in vain or labored in vain.
Philippians 2:14-16 NKJV

The Lord Almighty will bless this week for us and perfect all that concerns us in Jesus name.

DON'T GIVE UP (Pool of Bethesda)

John 5:1-9 NKJV

 1 After this there was a feast of the Jews, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.
 2 Now there is in Jerusalem by the Sheep Gate a pool, which is called in Hebrew, Bethesda, having five porches.
 3 In these lay a great multitude of sick people, blind, lame, paralyzed, waiting for the moving of the water.
 4 For an angel went down at a certain time into the pool and stirred up the water; then whoever stepped in first, after the stirring of the water, was made well of whatever disease he had.
 5 Now a certain man was there who had an infirmity thirty-eight years.
 6 When Jesus saw him lying there, and knew that he already had been in  that  condition a long time, He said to him, “Do you want to be made well?”
 7 The sick man answered Him, “Sir, I have no man to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up; but while I am coming, another steps down before me.”
 8 Jesus said to him, “Rise, take up your bed and walk.”
 9 And immediately the man was made well, took up his bed, and walked. And that day was the Sabbath.

  He has had infirmity for 38 years, yet he was found by the Pool of Bethesda. Although he will need assistant of someone to put him in the pool whenever the water is stirred up, yet he didn't give up.

  Multitude at the pool were waiting for the water to be stirred up, only one person will be made whole each time the water was stirred, the fastest person will be the lucky person. The chances of the man Jesus healed at the pool was very slim (because only one person will be healed per stir, multitude is waiting for the stir and the man in question will need someone to put him in the pool) yet, he didn't give up.

  Do you want to be made well? He simply explained his predicament to the son of God and his woeful story became a testimony. What is your own infinity what are your predicaments? Do not give up on yourself, do not give up at all. Thirty-Eight years of infirmity yielded to a testimony we have been reading in the Bible for over 2000 years.

  Explain your predicaments to the son of God to, He knows what you have been going through, He loves you, He paid a great price by laying down His life to redeem you. You are very precious to Him. Believe in Him, trust Him, have faith in Him and He will visit your situation. Do not give up.

Your testimony will be full in Jesus name.
Have a wonderful week.
God bless you.

Romans 12:9-21 NKJV

  9 Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil. Cling to what is good.
 10 Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another;
 11 not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord;
 12 rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer;
 13 distributing to the needs of the saints, given to hospitality.
 14 Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse.
 15 Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep.
 16 Be of the same mind toward one another. Do not set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Do not be wise in your own opinion.
 17 Repay no one evil for evil. Have regard for good things in the sight of all men.
 18 If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men.
 19 Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord.
 20 Therefore “If your enemy is hungry, feed him; If he is thirsty, give him a drink; For in so doing you will heap coals of fire on his head.”
 21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

Revelation 21:1-7 NKJV

 1 Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea.
 2 Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
 3 And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and  be their God.
 4 And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes;
 there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying.
 There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.” (AMEN)
 5 Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” And He said to me, “Write, for these words are true and faithful.”
 6 And He said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts.
 7 He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son.

Luke 18:18-30 NKJV

   Now a certain ruler asked Him, saying, “Good Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?
   So Jesus said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, God.  You know the commandments: ‘Do not commit adultery,’ ‘Do not murder,’ ‘Do not steal,’ ‘Do not bear false witness,’ ‘Honor your father and your mother.’  ”
   And he said, “All these things I have kept from my youth.”
   So when Jesus heard these things, He said to him, “You still lack one thing. Sell all that you have and distribute to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.
   But when he heard this, he became very sorrowful, for he was very rich.
   And when Jesus saw that he became very sorrowful, He said, “How hard it is for those who have riches to enter the kingdom of God!  For it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.

   And those who heard it said, “Who then can be saved?”
   But He said, “The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.”

   Then Peter said, “See, we have left all and followed You.”
   So He said to them, “Assuredly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or parents or brothers or wife or children, for the sake of the kingdom of God,  who shall not receive many times more in this present time, and in the age to come eternal life.”

Jesus did not say, the rich men will not enter the kingdom of Heaven, He only said it is very hard.

In those days, Jesus did not preach "get rich" messages, His messages were "love your neighbor as yourself" "sell all you have" "humble yourself" "take up your cross and follow me"

If this was the Gospel preached by the One who died, so that you and I can have life, what other type of Gospel do you listen to? The messages these days are "breakthrough" "financial uplift" "next level" "blessing".... I wonder if that was part of the great commission.

And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.  Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,  teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen. Matthew 28:18-20 NKJV

Let us all pick lessons from the message of Jesus to the ruler and the rulers reaction, from the response of Jesus to those who heard it, assurance of Jesus to the faithful deciples and Most importantly, the Gospel of Jesus/The great commission.

Have a Wonderful day.

Luke 18:1-8 NKJV

 1 Then He spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not lose heart,
 2 saying: “There was in a certain city a judge who did not fear God nor regard man.
 3 Now there was a widow in that city; and she came to him, saying, ‘Get justice for me from my adversary.’
 4 And he would not for a while; but afterward he said within himself, ‘Though I do not fear God nor regard man,
 5 yet because this widow troubles me I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.’ ”
 6 Then the Lord said, “Hear what the unjust judge said.
 7 And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them?
 8 I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?”

Jesus told His disciples this parable to encourage them to pray always till they get answers to their prayer. God is not wicked like the Judge illustrated in the parable. God is loving, God is caring and God knows what we need before we even ask. But sometimes what we ask for what may not be what God want for us, the delay may also be due to lack of faith and sometimes, the delay may be because we make our prayers a one way traffic.

Prayer is one of the ways we communicate with God. Now imagine two people trying to communicate with each other and MAN 1 opened its mouth to explain what has happened to him, what is happening to him and what he expect from MAN 2 to make his life better. And immediately he finished expressing Himself he turned his back and he left without allowing MAN 2 to say a word. This is what most of our prayers to God looks like. "Father in the name of Jesus name we pray, Amen. And we stand up and leave immediately"

Therefore, because we do not allow God to speak back to us immediately we finish asking Him, we often experience delay. If not He would have told us what His plan is for us and when we should expect it to be executed.

We need to always pray and we ought to pray without ceasing so that the Lord will avenge you from the oppression of your adversaries but the most important reason for you to pray without ceasing is concerning the gift of the Holy Spirit, our Christian life, and our salvation lest we fall into temptation.

- Pray that God will strengthen you spiritually
- Pray that the Lord will uphold you with His right hand of righteousness
- Pray that you will not fall into temptations
- Pray that the Lord should deliver you from every form of evil
- Pray that the devil will not make you miss the heavenly kingdom
-Pray that the Marvelous Grace of our Loving God will always be with you

Have a wonderful day.

Matthew 13:24-30 NKJV

 24 Another parable He put forth to them, saying: “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field;
 25 but while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat and went his way.
 26 But when the grain had sprouted and produced a crop, then the tares also appeared.
 27 So the servants of the owner came and said to him, ‘Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have tares?’
 28 He said to them, ‘An enemy has done this.’ The servants said to him, ‘Do you want us then to go and gather them up?’
 29 But he said, ‘No, lest while you gather up the tares you also uproot the wheat with them.
 30 Let both grow together until the harvest, and at the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, “First gather together the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them, but gather the wheat into my barn.” ’ ”

Matthew 13:36-43 NKJV

 36 Then Jesus sent the multitude away and went into the house. And His disciples came to Him, saying, “Explain to us the parable of the tares of the field.”
 37 He answered and said to them: “He who sows the good seed is the Son of Man.
 38 The field is the world, the good seeds are the sons of the kingdom, but the tares are the sons of the wicked one.
 39 The enemy who sowed them is the devil, the harvest is the end of the age, and the reapers are the angels.
 40 Therefore as the tares are gathered and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of this age.
 41 The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and those who practice lawlessness,
 42 and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
 43 Then the righteous will shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears to hear, let him hear!

To you and I, we are the sons of the kingdom, let us not be intimidated with the presence of the sons of the wicked among us. The Lord has not separated us now because He wants us to be fully riped for the kingdom and He does not want us to be hurt.

Therefore, while the sons of the wicked grow among us, let us not be carried away by their ways of life. Let us be focused on the heavenly kingdom. At the end of all ages, we shall be on the Lords side and we shall watch the sons of the wicked burn in the lake of fire.

As we wait on the Lord, may His presence not depart from us.
Have a blessed day.

Isaiah 41:10-13 NKJV

 10 Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’
 11 “Behold, all those who were incensed against you Shall be ashamed and disgraced; They shall be as nothing, And those who strive with you shall perish.
 12 You shall seek them and not find them— Those who contended with you. Those who war against you Shall be as nothing, As a nonexistent thing.
 13 For I, the Lord your God, will hold your right hand, Saying to you, ‘Fear not, I will help you.’
