In 2016 The Lord has sworn by His right hand And by the arm of His strength: “Surely I will no longer give your grain As food for your enemies; And the sons of the foreigner shall not drink your new wine, For which you have labored.
Isaiah 62:8 NKJV

In 2016, “It shall come to pass That before they call, I will answer; And while they are still speaking, I will hear.
(Says the Lord)
Isaiah 65:24 NKJV

In 2016, The Lord shall preserve you from all evil; He shall preserve your soul. The Lord shall preserve your going out and your coming in From this time forth, and even forevermore.
Psalms 121:7-8 NKJV

Happy New Year

Jude 1:24-25 NKJV

24 Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, And to present you faultless Before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy,
25 To God our Savior, Who alone is wise, Be glory and majesty, Dominion and power, Both now and forever. Amen.

II Timothy 4:1-5 NKJV

1 I charge you therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at His appearing and His kingdom:
2 Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching.
 3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers;
4 and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables.
5 But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.

PREACH the word, while we still have sound doctrine, PREACH the word, while we still have the bible. Tell your neighbors about the Love of God towards human race. Tell them of the Mission and purpose of Jesus Christ. Tell them of the life immortal promised by our Lord Jesus Christ.

Do not be discouraged when you tell them the good news and it appears your words fall on deaf ears. Remember, it is not all the people who listened to our Lord Jesus Christ that yielded to His word. But make sure you do your own part.

Remember the great commission when Jesus was ascending to the heavens, He said "And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.  Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,  teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen. Matthew 28:18-20 NKJV"

God bless you as you ponder on theses messages and you preach the word. Remember, no one is too young in the ministry when it comes to gospel.

Have a great day.

I John 4:20-21 NKJV

20 If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?
21 And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God must love his brother also.

John 3:16-18 NKJV
16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
18 “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

I John 5:10-13 NKJV
10 He who believes in the Son of God has the witness in himself; he who does not believe God has made Him a liar, because he has not believed the testimony that God has given of His Son.
11 And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.
12 He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.
13 These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue  to believe in the name of the Son of God.

Read the bible verses over and over again but ponder more on verses 16 & 18 of the book of John chapter 3 and on the verse 13 of the book of I John chapter 5.

In these three verses, we will see the importance of believing in the son of God. The only secret to the ultimate goal of every Christian is to believe in the name, purpose and mission of Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God.

John 3:16 says "WHOSOEVER believes in Him should not perish, but have EVERLASTING LIFE". Verse 18 of that same chapter says "He who believes in Him is NOT CONDEMNED; but he who does not believe is condemned already"

I John 5:13 says "These things I have written to you who BELIEVE in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue  to believe in the name of the Son of God.

Believe! Just Believe!!! That's all you need and you will not be condemned, even though on the day of Judgement, Satan may try to remind you of your terrible pasts, but because you have  turned your life around and you have believed in Jesus, in His cause and in His mission, there will be no condemnation for you.

WHOSOEVER believe in Him will not perish, but have EVERLASTING LIFE, therefore "BELIEVE! JUST BELIEVE!!!"

Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it.
Proverbs 22:6 NKJV

Children are faultless and blameless at birth, as they grow, we are their first contacts, hence they learn their first lessons from us.

The Lord has given them to us, it is our duty to train them in the ways of the Lord.

The Lord Almighty will help us to help us to train them.

Romans 16:17-20 NKJV

17 Now I urge you, brethren, note those who cause divisions and offenses, contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and avoid them.
18 For those who are such do not serve our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly, and by smooth words and flattering speech deceive the hearts of the simple.
19 For your obedience has become known to all. Therefore I am glad on your behalf; but I want you to be wise in what is good, and simple concerning evil.
20 And the God of peace will crush Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.

James 3:1-10 NKJV

My brethren, let not many of you become teachers, knowing that we shall receive a stricter judgment. For we all stumble in many things. If anyone does not stumble in word, he is a perfect man, able also to bridle the whole body. Indeed, we put bits in horses’ mouths that they may obey us, and we turn their whole body. Look also at ships: although they are so large and are driven by fierce winds, they are turned by a very small rudder wherever the pilot desires. Even so the tongue is a little member and boasts great things. See how great a forest a little fire kindles! And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity.

The tongue is so set among our members that it defiles the whole body, and sets on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire by hell. For every kind of beast and bird, of reptile and creature of the sea, is tamed and has been tamed by mankind. But no man can tame the tongue. It  is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison. With it we bless our God and Father, and with it we curse men, who have been made in the similitude of God. Out of the same mouth proceed blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not to be so.

Tongues, with it we bless God and with it we curse men who has been made in the image of God...

How we use our tongues is very important, although its a very small member of the body, but how we use the tongue plays a very important role on our immediate environment.

Soothing words to a dying soul, may revive the soul and soothing words in hopeless situations may bring a turn around and restore the lost hope.

The same way soothing words may bring life and hope to a dying soul is also the way harsh and violent words may cause damages to a happy soul or provoke anger and strifes.

The tongue is a small buy powerful member of the body, use your tongue to bring life always, do not use your tongue to kill or to cause strife.

"Its better to be quiet rather than saying things that may be used against you"

I John 5:6-13 NKJV

This is He who came by water and blood—Jesus Christ; not only by water, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit who bears witness, because the Spirit is truth.

For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word (Son), and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one. (TRINITY)

And there are three that bear witness on earth: the Spirit, the water (Baptism), and the blood; and these three agree as one.

If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater; for this is the witness of God which He has testified of His Son.

He who believes in the Son of God has the witness in himself; he who does not believe God has made Him a liar, because he has not believed the testimony that God has given of His Son.

 And this is the testimony:
-  that God has given us eternal life, and
-  this life is in His Son.
-  He who has the Son has life;
-  he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.

These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue  to believe in the name of the Son of God.

"He who has the son has life; He who does not have the son does not have life---" Quote by God

Have a nice day.

Romans 6:1-14 NKJV

What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it? Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death?

Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. For if we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall be in  the  likeness of His resurrection, knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin.

For he who has died has been freed from sin. Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him, knowing that Christ, having been raised from the dead, dies no more. Death no longer has dominion over Him.

For the  death that He died, He died to sin once for all; but the  life that He lives, He lives to God. Likewise you also, reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in its lusts. And do not present your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God. For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace.

10 The name of the Lord is a strong tower; The righteous run to it and are safe.

Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him THE NAME WHICH IS ABOVE EVERY NAME, 10 that at THE NAME OF JESUS every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth,11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

The name of the Lord is a Strong Tower. The righteous run to it and they are safe. Because the name of the Lord is above every other name, at the name of Jesus, every knee must bow. Knees of those in Heaven and of those on Earth and of those under the earth, all knee must surely bow at the name of Jesus. Not only that, all tongues must also confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. The only way to stay safe is by clinging unto the name of the LORD whenever you are faced with any trouble or trials or anytime you need to be delivered

My dear friends, what exactly are you afraid of? What is scaring you? What is the name of the sickness in your body? What exactly is the name of the challenges you are facing? The moment you are born again and you are sure you are on the Lord's side, you have nothing to be scared of. We have been given a name that is above every other names, we have a strong tower we can always run to. At the name of Jesus Christ, every knee must bow. I said at the name of JESUS CHRIST every sickness in your body must disappear. At the NAME ABOVE EVERY OTHER NAME, all the problem standing tall against you must bow before you.

I want you to put yourself in the mood of prayers right now. Run to the STRONG TOWER, call on THE NAME THAT IS ABOVE EVERY OTHER NAMES and face that giant in your life with the name of JESUS and victory will surely be your in the MIGHTY NAME OF JESUS.

Therefore i tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it and it will be yours
Mark 11:24. When you pray, just believe. The Lord will answer you from above.

Let brotherly love continue. Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing  some have unwittingly entertained angels.
Hebrews 13:1-2 NKJV

Then the Lord appeared to him by the terebinth trees of Mamre, as he was sitting in the tent door in the heat of the day.

So he lifted his eyes and looked, and behold, three men were standing by him; and when he saw them, he ran from the tent door to meet them, and bowed himself to the ground, and said, “My Lord, if I have now found favor in Your sight, do not pass on by Your servant. Please let a little water be brought, and wash your feet, and rest yourselves under the tree. And I will bring a morsel of bread, that you may refresh your hearts. After that you may pass by, inasmuch as you have come to your servant.” They said, “Do as you have said.”

So Abraham hurried into the tent to Sarah and said, “Quickly, make ready three measures of fine meal; knead it and make cakes.” And Abraham ran to the herd, took a tender and good calf, gave it to a young man, and he hastened to prepare it. So he took butter and milk and the calf which he had prepared, and set it before them; and he stood by them under the tree as they ate.

Then they said to him, “Where is Sarah your wife?” So he said, “Here, in the tent.” And He said, “I will certainly return to you according to the time of life, and behold, Sarah your wife shall have A SON.” (Sarah was listening in the tent door which was behind him.)
Genesis 18:1-10 NKJV

Now the two angels came to Sodom in the evening, and Lot was sitting in the gate of Sodom. When Lot saw them, he rose to meet them, and he bowed himself with his face toward the ground. And he said, “Here now, my Lords, please turn in to your servant’s house and spend the night, and wash your feet; then you may rise early and go on your way.”

And they said, “No, but we will spend the night in the open square.” But he insisted strongly; so they turned in to him and entered his house. Then he made them a feast, and baked unleavened bread, and they ate.

Now before they lay down, the men of the city, the men of Sodom, both old and young, all the people from every quarter, surrounded the house. And they called to Lot and said to him, “Where are the men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us that we may know them carnally.”

So Lot went out to them through the doorway, shut the door behind him, and said, “Please, my brethren, do not do so wickedly! See now, I have two daughters who have not known a man; please, let me bring them out to you, and you may do to them as you wish; only do nothing to these men, since this is the reason they have come under the shadow of my roof.”

And they said, “Stand back!” Then they said, “This one came in to stay here,  and he keeps acting as a judge; now we will deal worse with you than with them.” So they pressed hard against the man Lot, and came near to break down the door.

But the men reached out their hands and pulled Lot into the house with them, and shut the door. And they struck the men who were at the doorway of the house with blindness, both small and great, so that they became weary trying to find the door.

Then the men said to Lot, “Have you anyone else here? Son-in-law, your sons, your daughters, and whomever you have in the city— take them out of this place! For we will destroy this place, because the outcry against them has grown great before the face of the Lord , and the Lord has sent us to destroy it.”

So Lot went out and spoke to his sons-in-law, who had married his daughters, and said, “Get up, get out of this place; for the Lord will destroy this city!” But to his sons-in-law he seemed to be joking.

When the morning dawned, the angels urged Lot to hurry, saying, “Arise, take your wife and your two daughters who are here, lest you be consumed in the punishment of the city.” And while he lingered, the men took hold of his hand, his wife’s hand, and the hands of his two daughters, the Lord being merciful to him, and they brought him out and set him outside the city. So it came to pass, when they had brought them outside, that he said, “Escape for your life! Do not look behind you nor stay anywhere in the plain. Escape to the mountains, lest you be destroyed.”
Genesis 19:1-17 NKJV

I was fortunate to be in the church when an elder was explaining his week-in week-out experience to the church. The wife of this elder is a nurse by profession while this particular elder manages a medicine store just in front of their house.

The elder said, "some times, in cases of emergency, people come to knock on our door in the middle of the night for either medical attention from my wife or to come and purchase medicine, not withstanding we do not just open our doors to attend to people, because of security issues, we have to verify who is at the door and the purpose by which he/she came before we open the door".

On some occasions, "when we hear a familiar voice we can easily identify the voice and say that must be Mr. X or Mrs Y and we wont hesitate to open the door and attend to their needs.  however on some other occasions, especially when the voice is not familiar, the person may have to explain further by saying i am Mr. A or i am Mrs. B, i live around here and i have been referred by Mr. X or by Mrs Y (which we are familiar with), before we will open our doors to such strangers"

I, personally gave this illustration a very deep thought and I discovered; if I hear a knock on my door in the middle of the night too, I will have to be sure that even the familiar voices are not coming in to harm me before I will open up. If i put the security fears aside, another thing that came to my mind is; if I hear knocks on my door and many people are out there looking for my help in the middle of the night, I will attend to the people I am familiar with first, before I give my attention to the people that I am not used to........ Ponder on this, what will you do in that kind of situation?

“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. Or what man is there among you who, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? 10 Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent? 11 If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will YOUR FATHER who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!

It is written, that as the heaven is far from the earth, the same way is the ways of the Lord and His thoughts far from ours "my ways are not your ways and my thoughts are not your thoughts....Isaiah 55:8" but let us ponder on the illustrations above and relate it to what we have in Matthew 7:7-11. especially verse 11 where we have much more your father who is in heaven."
The questions now are; can you boldly call God, "MY FATHER WHO ART IN HEAVEN?" What is the relationship between you and God? Does God know your voice in prayers and in singing praises to Him? How much do you think God is familiar with your voice?

The moment you get yourself acquainted with God the easier the it will be for you to claim the promise of assurance of being there for us, that he made in Matthew 7:7-11. Although His ways are not our ways, but i think it wont be fair if a christian who sing praises to God everyday and talks in prayers with God everyday knocks on God's door at the same time with an unbeliever knocks and Lord attends to the unbeliever ahead of the believer or ignore the knocks of the believer (just my thought). God is a God of Love, read what Jesus said in the book of John 10:26-28 (being familiar with the Believers) 26"But you do not believe because you are not of My sheep. 27"My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me; 28and I give eternal life to them, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand.…" this same way God will fulfill his promises in Matthew 7:7-11 for his believers.

Ponder on all this and make things easy for yourself by making sure you are acquainted with  God.
Have a wonderful day

II Peter 2:4-10 NKJV

  4 For if God did not spare the angels who sinned, but cast them down to hell and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved for judgment;
  5 and did not spare the ancient world, but saved Noah, one  of eight people , a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood on the world of the ungodly;
  6 and turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes, condemned them to destruction, making them an example to those who afterward would live ungodly;
7 and delivered righteous Lot, who  was oppressed by the filthy conduct of the wicked
8 (for that righteous man, dwelling among them, tormented his righteous soul from day to day by seeing and hearing their lawless deeds)
9 then  the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations and to reserve the unjust under punishment for the day of judgment,
10 and especially those who walk according to the flesh in the lust of uncleanness and despise authority. They  are presumptuous, self-willed. They are not afraid to speak evil of dignitaries,

The lord knows how to deliver the righteous and He knows how to spare them from the coming punishment or destruction. Noah was not destroyed in the flood because he is a righteous man, Lot was not destroyed in Sodom and Gomorrah's destruction because he was righteous.
The Lord is righteous, He loves righteousness. Let us do all within our reach to stay righteous, this is all we can do to please the Lord.

Have a wonderful week

“For yet a little while, And  He who is coming will come and will not tarry. Now the just shall live by faith; But if anyone draws back, My soul has no pleasure in him.”
But we are not of those who draw back to perdition, but of those who believe to the saving of the soul.
Hebrews 10:37-39 NKJV

Thursday, 3 December 2015

And God spoke all these words, saying: “I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
1. “You shall have no other gods before Me.
2. “You shall not make for yourself a carved image—any likeness of  anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me, but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments.
3. “You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord  will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain.
4. “Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God. In  it you shall do no work: you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates. For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it.
5. “Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long upon the land which the Lord your God is giving you.
6. “You shall not murder.
7. “You shall not commit adultery.
8. “You shall not steal.
9. “You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
10. “You shall not covet your neighbor’s house; you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor’s.” Exodus 20:1-17 NKJV

But when the Pharisees heard that He had silenced the Sadducees, they gathered together. Then one of them, a lawyer, asked Him  a  question, testing Him, and saying, “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?”
Jesus said to him, “ ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’  This is the first and great commandment.
And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’  On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.” Matthew 22:34-40 NKJV

Owe no one anything except to love one another, for he who loves another has fulfilled the law. For the commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not bear false witness,” “You shall not covet,” and if there  is any other commandment, are all summed up in this saying, namely, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.  Romans 13:8-10 NKJV

When Jesus was approached about the greatest commandment, it was obvious that He was talking about the Ten commandments. He simply said the first and the greatest commandment is ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’
This means if you love God;
- you will have no other gods before Him. (1st commandment)
- you will not make for yourselve a carved image (2nd commandment)
- you will not take the name of the Lord your God in vain (3rd commandment)
- you will always remember the sabbath day to keep it holy

Jesus also said the second commandment is like it ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’
This means if you love your neighbor as yourself, you will:
- honour your father and your mother (this commandment carried a blessing) (5th commandment)
- Not murder your neighbor (6th commandment)
- not commit adultery with your neighbor (7th commandment)
- not steal from your neighbor (8th commandment)
- not bear false witness against your neighbor (9th commandment)
- not covet your neighbor (10th commandment)

God loves us so much that He gave His only begotten son in propitiation for our sins. If He loves us so much, we ought to Love Him too. If we love Him, we will keep His commandment (John 14:15).

If God has shown us so much Love it is also our duty to Love one another. If we love one another, we will honour our parents and we will not steal, kill, covet, bear false witnesses or commit adultery with our neighbors.

we can therefore conclude on this note: "the ten commandments are laws of love" Love God and Love one another, this is the duty of all Christians.

Psalms 47:1-2 NKJV

Oh, clap your hands, all you peoples! Shout to God with the voice of triumph! For the Lord Most High is awesome; He  is a great King over all the earth.

For the past 11 months in the year 2015, the Lord Almighty has been graciously good to us. He has blessed us with life, He has blessed us with good health. Our going out has been blessed and our coming in has also been blessed.

Clap your hands and praise the Lord because He saw us through January till November. A lot of people started January 2015 with us but unfortunately, we lost them in the course of the year. We are in the 12th month of the year 2015, we need to shout to the Lord with the voice of triumph and glorify His holy name for the Lord is awesome; He is a great King over all the earth.

Dear Lord, today is the beginning of the very last month of the year 2015, as we travel through this month, dear Lord;
- please go before us
- please order our steps
- perfect all that concerns us
- bless us with the good things of life
- bless us with the Holy Spirit
- prepare us for your heavenly kingdom
- Let your glory radiate around us
- let people see you and know you more through us
- let us see the end of 2015 with happiness
- prepare us all for a wonderful 2016

In Jesus Name we pray.
