THE LORD WILL HELP US

When You said, “Seek My face,” My heart said to You, “Your face, Lord , I will seek.” Do not hide Your face from me; Do not turn Your servant away in anger; You have been my help; Do not leave me nor forsake me, O God of my salvation.

GOD HAS NOT FORSAKEN YOU

Can a woman forget her nursing child, And not have compassion on the son of her womb? Surely they may forget, Yet I will not forget you. See, I have inscribed you on the palms of  My  hands; Your walls are continually before Me.
Isaiah 49:15-16 NKJV

Before you call on the Lord, He will answer, before you ask, He will give great things to you. (Isaiah 65:24).

Relax, God has not forsaken you.

Isaiah 60:19-20 NKJV

 19 “The sun shall no longer be your light by day, Nor for brightness shall the moon give light to you; But the Lord will be to you an everlasting light, And your God your glory.
 20 Your sun shall no longer go down, Nor shall your moon withdraw itself; For the Lord will be your everlasting light, And the days of your mourning shall be ended.

GOD ABIDES IN HIM AND HE IN GOD

By this we know that we abide in Him, and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit. And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son as Savior of the world. Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God.

MY DESIRE FROM THE LORD

Psalms 27:4-6 NKJV

One thing I have desired of the Lord, That will I seek: That I may dwell in the house of the Lord All the days of my life, To behold the beauty of the Lord , And to inquire in His temple.

For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion; In the secret place of His tabernacle He shall hide me; He shall set me high upon a rock. And now my head shall be lifted up above my enemies all around me; Therefore I will offer sacrifices of joy in His tabernacle; I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the Lord.

Amen

SONG OF PRAYERS

Psalms 25:1-11 NKJV

 1 On To You, O Lord , I lift up my soul
On To You, O Lord , I lift up my soul

O my God, I trust in You;
Let me not be ashamed;
Let not my enemies triumph over me.

 2 Indeed, let no one who waits on You be ashamed;
Indeed, let no one who waits on You be ashamed;

O my God, I trust in You;
Let me not be ashamed;
Let not my enemies triumph over me.

 3 Let those be ashamed who deal treacherously without cause.
Let those be ashamed who deal treacherously without cause.

O my God, I trust in You;
Let me not be ashamed;
Let not my enemies triumph over me.

 4 Show me Your ways, O Lord ; Teach me Your paths. Lead me in Your truth and teach me,

O my God, I trust in You;
Let me not be ashamed;
Let not my enemies triumph over me.

 5 For You are the God of my salvation;
For You are the God of my salvation;

O my God, I trust in You;
Let me not be ashamed;
Let not my enemies triumph over me.

 6 Remember, O Lord , Your tender mercies and Your lovingkindnesses, For they are from of old.

O my God, I trust in You;
Let me not be ashamed;
Let not my enemies triumph over me.

 7 Do not remember the sins of my youth
Do not remember the sins of my youth

O my God, I trust in You;

Let not my enemies triumph over me.

 8 According to Your mercy remember me,
According to Your mercy remember me,

O my God, I trust in You;
Let me not be ashamed;

 9 For Your name’s sake, O Lord , Pardon my iniquity, for it is great.

O my God, I trust in You;
Let me not be ashamed;
Let not my enemies triumph over me.

For Your goodness’ sake, O Lord . Good and upright is the Lord ; Therefore He teaches sinners in the way. The humble He guides in justice, And the humble He teaches His way. All the paths of the Lord  are mercy and truth, To such as keep His covenant and His testimonies. For Your name’s sake, O Lord , Pardon my iniquity, for it is great.

AMEN

FROM SUFFERING TO GLORY

Romans 8:18-30 NKJV

 18 For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
 19 For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God.
 20 For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it in hope;
 21 because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.
 22 For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now.
 23 Not only that, but we also who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body.
 24 For we were saved in this hope, but hope that is seen is not hope; for why does one still hope for what he sees?
 25 But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance.
 26 Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
 27 Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the  will  of God.
 28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
 29 For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.
 30 Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.

No matter how tough life seems to be, the assurance we can find in the above bible text is "the suffering of this present times, cannot be compared to the glory that awaits us by the time the Son of God, Jesus comes back for the saints" (verse 18-22)

We have been saved, and our hope for getting save can be seen in the fact that, after getting saved, we diligently wait for the coming of the Lord, which will bring glory that awaits us. This is something we have not seen physically but will surely come with the second coming of Jesus Christ. (Verses 24 and 25)

When Jesus was leaving the earth, He knows our weaknesses therefore He promised to send a Comforter, which is the Holy Spirit. In course time, while we wait for this glorious day, the Spirit prays for us and make intercessions for us before the Father. (Verses 26 and 27)

All things will work together for good of those that love God. If you Love God you will appreciate His Love towards you, by sending His only begotten Son to die for you, you will keep His commandments and in hope, you will diligently wait for the second coming of Jesus Christ so as to experience the glory to come.

And finally God has called some people for His purpose. He is currently calling you to His purpose. Take Heed and answer His calls, whom He calls, this He justifies, whom He justifies, this He glorifies.

Endure this suffering, be hopeful, let the Holy spirit take the full control of your life and heed the call of God whenever you are called upon. At the end of it all, you will move from suffering to Glory.

Amen.

THE LORD WILL REMEMBER YOU

SUMMARY OF THE STORY (ESTHER CHAPTER 1 TO 5)

Before this time, the Jews were taken captives in the time of Nebuchadnezzar, Mordecai (a Jew) came to captivity with Esther. Queen Vashti disobeyed the ruling King Ahasuerus and she was replaced with Esther.

Mordecai sits at the Kings Gate day and night to keep watch on Esther. Two of the Kings eunuchs, Bigthan and Teresh sought to lay hands on the King. Mordecai knew their plots, He informed Esther, who told the king in Mordecai's name. It was confirmed and the conspirators were hanged on gallows. The event was written in the book of the chronicles in the presence of the King.

In the course of time Haman (one of King Ahasuerus' Men) was promoted but Mordecai refuse to bow to him. Haman got angry and he sought not to kill Mordecai but the entire Jews. Hence they needed a saviour.

Esther has just been made Queen, she's not allowed to go into the King's court except she is summoned. If she breaks this rule, the penalty is death except the King raise His golden scepter towards her.

Mordecai wrote to Esther, that she's the only one who can convince the king to nullify the plot of Haman towards the Jews. But she can't just enter the King's court without invitation. This is her reply to Mordecai;

Esther 4:15-17 NKJV
Then Esther told them to reply to Mordecai: “Go, gather all the Jews who are present in Shushan, and fast for me; neither eat nor drink for three days, night or day. My maids and I will fast likewise. And so I will go to the king, which is against the law; and if I perish, I perish!” So Mordecai went his way and did according to all that Esther commanded him.

Esther went to the court to meet the King and she found favour in the sight of the King. Then she invited the King and Haman to a banquet.

Haman went out joyfully a day before the banquet, he met Mordecai at the King's gate, as usual, Mordecai did not bow to him, he went home and told his wife. Zeresh, the wife of Haman and his friends suggested to the Haman to make a gallow 50cubits high to hang Mordecai on it.

Esther 6:1-14 NKJV

  1 That night (the night before the Banquet) the king could not sleep. So one was commanded to bring the book of the records of the chronicles; and they were read before the king.
  2 And it was found written that Mordecai had told of Bigthana and Teresh, two of the king’s eunuchs, the doorkeepers who had sought to lay hands on King Ahasuerus.
  3 Then the king said, “What honor or dignity has been bestowed on Mordecai for this?” And the king’s servants who attended him said, “Nothing has been done for him.”
  4 So the king said, “Who is in the court?” Now Haman had just entered the outer court of the king’s palace to suggest that the king hang Mordecai on the gallows that he had prepared for him.
  5 The king’s servants said to him, “Haman is there, standing in the court.” And the king said, “Let him come in.”
  6 So Haman came in, and the king asked him, “What shall be done for the man whom the king delights to honor?” Now Haman thought in his heart, “Whom would the king delight to honor more than me?”
  7 And Haman answered the king, “ For the man whom the king delights to honor,
  8 let a royal robe be brought which the king has worn, and a horse on which the king has ridden, which has a royal crest placed on its head.
  9 Then let this robe and horse be delivered to the hand of one of the king’s most noble princes, that he may array the man whom the king delights to honor. Then parade him on horseback through the city square, and proclaim before him: ‘Thus shall it be done to the man whom the king delights to honor!’ ”
 10 Then the king said to Haman, “Hurry, take the robe and the horse, as you have suggested, and do so for Mordecai the Jew who sits within the king’s gate! Leave nothing undone of all that you have spoken.”
 11 So Haman took the robe and the horse, arrayed Mordecai and led him on horseback through the city square, and proclaimed before him, “Thus shall it be done to the man whom the king delights to honor!”
 12 Afterward Mordecai went back to the king’s gate. But Haman hurried to his house, mourning and with his head covered.
 13 When Haman told his wife Zeresh and all his friends everything that had happened to him, his wise men and his wife Zeresh said to him, “If Mordecai, before whom you have begun to fall, is of Jewish descent, you will not prevail against him but will surely fall before him.”
 14 While they were still talking with him, the king’s eunuchs came, and hastened to bring Haman to the banquet which Esther had prepared.

THE MESSAGE FROM THIS STORY.
   None of the good deeds, which you have done in the past is forgotten. All is written before God. In the appointed time (God's perfect time) you shall be rewarded.

   Imagine the shame that followed the plans of Haman against Mordecai, He was just in the kings court to get a "go ahead" from the king, to hang Mordecai on the gallows he made a day before Mordecai was honoured. And it turned out that it was him that the king used to honour Mordecai.

   Whenever you do good, if you do not get immediate reward for your good deed, do not feel bad, do not be disappointed, just have it at the back of your mind that your good deed has been recorded by the King of kings and the Lord of Lords. In the appointed time (the perfect time) you shall be rewarded.

PRAYERS
Our kind and Everlasting Father we pray this day that;
- You will remember all our good deeds and bless us in due time
- You will put all our enemies to shame before us
- Every plans of the enemies against us will be turned around to our favour.
- You will use our enemies to glorify us
- just as the King had sleepless night, make the people that will bless us sleepless and restless until the remember us and bless us.

Thank you our Heavenly Father because you have heard our prayers, In JESUS NAME we pray.

Amen.

WITNESSES OF FAITH (A MOTIVATION FOR YOU AND I)

Hebrews 11:1-40 NKJV

FAITH
   Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good testimony. By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.

FAITH OF ABEL (GENESIS 4:1-15)
 By faith Abel offered to God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, through which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts; and through it he being dead still speaks.

FAITH OF ENOCH (GENESIS 5:28-24)
   By faith Enoch was taken away so that he did not see death, “and was not found, because God had taken him”; for before he was taken he had this testimony, that he pleased God.
But without faith it  is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

FAITH OF NOAH (GENESIS CHAPTER 6-10)
   By faith Noah, being divinely warned of things not yet seen, moved with godly fear, prepared an ark for the saving of his household, by which he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness which is according to faith.

FAITH OF ABRAHAM (from GENESIS CHAPTER 11:27 to GENESIS CHAPTER 25:11)
   By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to the place which he would receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going.
By faith he dwelt in the land of promise as in a foreign country, dwelling in tents with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise; for he waited for the city which has foundations, whose builder and maker is God.

FAITH OF SARAH (GENESIS 18:9-15, 21:1-7)
   By faith Sarah herself also received strength to conceive seed, and she bore a child when she was past the age, because she judged Him faithful who had promised. Therefore from one man, and him as good as dead, were born as  many as the stars of the sky in multitude—innumerable as the sand which is by the seashore.

THE HEAVENLY HOPE
   These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off were assured of them, embraced them and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. For those who say such things declare plainly that they seek a homeland. And truly if they had called to mind that country from which they had come out, they would have had opportunity to return. But now they desire a better, that is, a heavenly country. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for He has prepared a city for them.

FAITH OF ABRAHAM CONFIRMED (GENESIS 22:1-19) click here to also read "THE AGONY OF ABRAHAM"
   By faith Abraham, when he was tested, offered up Isaac, and he who had received the promises offered up his only begotten son,  of whom it was said, “In Isaac your seed shall be called,” concluding that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead, from which he also received him in a figurative sense.

ISAAC BLESSED JACOB AND ESAU (GENESIS 27:1-40)
   By faith Isaac blessed Jacob and Esau concerning things to come.

JACOB BLESSED THE SONS OF JOSEPH (GENESIS 48)
   By faith Jacob, when he was dying, blessed each of the sons of Joseph, and worshiped, leaning on the top of his staff.

FAITH OF JOSEPH ABOUT PROMISED LAND (GENESIS 50:22-26)
   By faith Joseph, when he was dying, made mention of the departure of the children of Israel, and gave instructions concerning his bones.

MOSES (EXODUS CHAPTER 1-14)
   By faith Moses, when he was born, was hidden three months by his parents, because they saw he  was a beautiful child; and they were not afraid of the king’s command. By faith Moses, when he became of age, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter, choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God than to enjoy the passing pleasures of sin, esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt; for he looked to the reward. By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king; for he endured as seeing Him who is invisible. By faith he kept the Passover and the sprinkling of blood, lest he who destroyed the firstborn should touch them. By faith they passed through the Red Sea as by dry land, whereas the Egyptians, attempting to do so, were drowned.

THE WALL OF JERICHO AND RAHAB (JOSHUA CHAPTER 2 and 6) click here to also read "AN HARLOT'S KIND GESTURE SAVED HER ENTIRE LINEAGE"
By faith the walls of Jericho fell down after they were encircled for seven days. By faith the harlot Rahab did not perish with those who did not believe, when she had received the spies with peace.

OTHER WITNESSES OF FAITH
And what more shall I say? For the time would fail me to tell of Gideon and Barak and Samson and Jephthah, also of  David and Samuel and the prophets: who through faith subdued kingdoms, worked righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, became valiant in battle, turned to flight the armies of the aliens. Women received their dead raised to life again. Others were tortured, not accepting deliverance, that they might obtain a better resurrection. Still others had trial of mockings and scourgings, yes, and of chains and imprisonment. They were stoned, they were sawn in two, were tempted, were slain with the sword. They wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins, being destitute, afflicted, tormented— of whom the world was not worthy. They wandered in deserts and mountains, in dens and caves of the earth. And all these, having obtained a good testimony through faith, did not receive the promise, God having provided something better for us, that they should not be made perfect apart from us.

THE RACE OF FAITH FOR YOU AND I
Let us all endure the present time and run our race of faith deligently, at the same time, we should have it at the back of our mind that our time here is temporary. When our journey here is completed, only two options await us;
1. Our names will be found in the book of life, which is our ticket to be a part of the New Jerusalem, a city whose architect is God
or
2. Our names will not be found in the book of life, which means eternal damnation (GOD FORBID)

Hebrews 12:1-2 NKJV
  1 Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,
  2 looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

TAKE UP THE CROSS AND FOLLOW HIM

Mark 8:34-38 NKJV

 34 When He had called the people to Himself, with His disciples also, He said to them, “Whoever desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.
 35 For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake and the gospel’s will save it.
 36 For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?
 37 Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?
 38 For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words in this adulterous and sinful generation, of him the Son of Man also will be ashamed when He comes in the glory of His Father with the holy angels.”

FAITH PLUS A LITTLE EFFORT

Mordecai wrote to Esther, that she's the only one who can convince the king to nullify the plot of Haman towards the Jews. But she can't just enter the King's court without invitation. This is her reply to Mordecai;

FAITH PLUS A LITTLE EFFORT.

- The only weapon of Christians is Prayers. When you pray you must have faith. Because Without faith, it is impossible to please God. (Hebrews 11:6)

- Faith without work is dead (What does  it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him? James 2:14 NKJV). If Esther and the entire Jews only fasted and prayed for 3 days, they may not be saved. But Esther decided to take a step further (And so I will go to the king, which is against the law; and if I perish, I perish!)

- When you Fast and pray to God for things your heart desires, you must make a little effort towards whatever you've prayed for, and God will bless your prayer, your faith and your efforts.

OUR EXPERIENCES
  You have fasted and you have prayed for a Job, yet you have not make a effort to give any employer your cv

  You have fasted and prayed about your crumbling relationship, yet you have not sat down to discuss what the problem is with your partner.

  You have fasted and prayed about your health, yet you have not taken healthy precautions or watch your diets.

Remember "faith without work is dead"
Have a great day

FAVOURED BEYOND MEASURE

A friend just shared this with me, it blessed me and I believe it may bless you too.

FAVOURED BEYOND MEASURE
Mr Peter had an interview to attend at 10am but his wife developed complications at 9am. He decided to take the wife to the hospital and leave for the interview thereafter but on their way to the hospital, the taxi broke down. It was already 10:30am before he could get another taxi. He arrived the hospital at 11am, dropped the wife and used the same taxi to go for the interview. He arrived the interview venue at 12noon(2hours late). He rang the bell but no one opened the door. Earlier at 10am, the mail delivery company had rang the bell but no one opened the door too. When the door was finally opened, Mr Peter said "I'm sorry, I  (wanting to apologise for coming late) but the Secretary interrupted before he could finish his statement and ushered him to the Board room.

The Secretary said, I apologise Mr Peter for keeping you waiting since 10am, we actually heard when the bell rang at 10am but we were held up in a meeting with our company suppliers... However we have sat since 8am to deliberate on your job specification, your office and the salary.
Mr Peter was baffled and said, "Ma'am, I haven't been interviewed yet’’.
The MD answered him and said "we decided not to conduct the interview at least to save time and also save the interviewees money on transport, so we looked at the papers for the most appropriate person we want and we opted for you. You won't be disappointed. You’ll be shown your office, your secretary and the driver assigned to drive your company's allotted vehicle. You’ll be on probation for 2yrs. Mr Peter got the job!!!
On his way out, his phone rang and it was the wife. She said honey, I was delivered of a bouncing baby boy. It was their fifth child and the only male child. He immediately called the child miracle. He got a double miracle same day, all the disappointments turned out to favour him. (God positioned the mail delivery man to ring the bell at 10am. God also held them up in the meeting until Mr Peter arrived.)
Note: You might be held up by issues in your life and hope might be diminishing and you think the chance is gone. But you know what? God's waiting for you to release His favour, so don't go back along the way, don't quit, don't be upset by what you face along the way.
In fact, God has already deliberated on your specifications...One more thing,you don't have to go through any interview, since you have all the qualifications God wants..

MY PRAYERS FOR YOU:
1. God will position somebody at the right place and the right time for you who will ring the bell in your favour.
2. God will turn all your disappointments to be a blessing for you.
3. Every positive meeting will end in your favour and every negative meeting will scatter in your favour.
5. Year 2016 is your year.

Remain blessed beyond measure!
Best wishes from my heart.

BE WISE

Proverbs 6:6-11 NKJV

 6 Go to the ant, you sluggard! Consider her ways and be wise,
 7 Which, having no captain, Overseer or ruler,
 8 Provides her supplies in the summer, And gathers her food in the harvest.
 9 How long will you slumber, O sluggard? When will you rise from your sleep?
 10 A little sleep, a little slumber, A little folding of the hands to sleep
 11 So shall your poverty come on you like a prowler, And your need like an armed man.

MISSIONARY: INSTRUCTIONS, REPORTS AND REWARDS

Luke 10:1-20 NKJV

 1 After these things the Lord appointed seventy others also, and sent them two by two before His face into every city and place where He Himself was about to go.
 2 Then He said to them, “The harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few; therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.

INSTRUCTIONS TO ALL CHRISTIANS
 3 Go your way; behold, I send you out as lambs among wolves.
 4 Carry neither money bag, knapsack, nor sandals; and greet no one along the road.
 5 But whatever house you enter, first say, ‘Peace to this house.’
 6 And if a son of peace is there, your peace will rest on it; if not, it will return to you.
 7 And remain in the same house, eating and drinking such things as they give, for the laborer is worthy of his wages. Do not go from house to house.
 8 Whatever city you enter, and they receive you, eat such things as are set before you.
 9 And heal the sick there, and say to them, ‘The kingdom of God has come near to you.’
 10 But whatever city you enter, and they do not receive you, go out into its streets and say,
 11 ‘The very dust of your city which clings to us we wipe off against you. Nevertheless know this, that the kingdom of God has come near you.’
 12 But I say to you that it will be more tolerable in that Day for Sodom than for that city.
 13 “Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the mighty works which were done in you had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago, sitting in sackcloth and ashes.
 14 But it will be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the judgment than for you.
 15 And you, Capernaum, who are exalted to heaven, will be brought down to Hades.
 16 He who hears you hears Me, he who rejects you rejects Me, and he who rejects Me rejects Him who sent Me.”

REPORTS
 17 Then the seventy returned with joy, saying, “Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name.”

REWARDS
 18 And He said to them, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven.
 19 Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
 20 Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rather rejoice because your names are written in heaven.”

THE LESSONS FROM THESE BIBLE VERSES
Just like in the time of our Lord Jesus Christ, the harvest is truly great but the Labourers are few. Jesus sent 70 preachers in the above bible verses. But when He was giving the great commission, the message is for all the followers of Christ to go and make the deciples of all nations..

- Verses 3-8 Shows us that we don't need much resources to do the missionary work, that God is sufficient for us.

AS THE CHRISTIANS
- Verses 9-11 tell us to preach about the kingdom of God to the people and the nations. That exactly is our main mission.
- Preaching in the name of Jesus will give us strength and power over every principalities and powers (verse 17)
- The reward is: authority over principalities and powers but we shouldn't let this get into our heads, we should rather let our rejoicing be in the fact that; because we have carried out our duties duly and wonderfully, our names will be written in the book of the life (verses 19-20)

AS THE RECIPIENT OF THE MESSAGE (THE UNBELIEVERS)
I tell you that the messages coming to us from the bible these days are messages of hope and we shouldn't let this opportunity pass us bye.
- Verse 12 here tells us that the destruction that awaits the people who hears the gospel and ignores it will be greater than the destructions experienced in Sodom and Gomorrah (Genesis 19:12-29)
- Verses 13-15 tells us that the gospel messages that we have in the bible and that we preach today is a rare opportunity which we must not ignore.
- Preachers are mouthpiece of God. If you listen to the preacher then you listen to God, if you reject a preacher and His messages, then you not only rejected the preacher but you also rejected the Holy one who sent Him.

LAW OF LOVE

Exodus 23:1-9 NKJV

 1 “You shall not circulate a false report. Do not put your hand with the wicked to be an unrighteous witness.
 2 You shall not follow a crowd to do evil; nor shall you testify in a dispute so as to turn aside after many to pervert justice.
 3 You shall not show partiality to a poor man in his dispute.
 4 “If you meet your enemy’s ox or his donkey going astray, you shall surely bring it back to him again.
 5 If you see the donkey of one who hates you lying under its burden, and you would refrain from helping it, you shall surely help him with it.
 6 “You shall not pervert the judgment of your poor in his dispute.
 7 Keep yourself far from a false matter; do not kill the innocent and righteous. For I will not justify the wicked.
 8 And you shall take no bribe, for a bribe blinds the discerning and perverts the words of the righteous.
 9 “Also you shall not oppress a stranger, for you know the heart of a stranger, because you were strangers in the land of Egypt.

CHARITY

Matthew 6:1-4 NKJV

“Take heed that you do not do your charitable deeds before men, to be seen by them. Otherwise you have no reward from your Father in heaven.  Therefore, when you do a charitable deed, do not sound a trumpet before you as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory from men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward.  But when you do a charitable deed, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing,  that your charitable deed may be in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will Himself reward you openly.

EXPECTING A NEW RESULT

Its the beginning of a new year, this is an opportunity for us all to rearrange our thoughts, our behavior and our ways of life so that we will achieve greater things this year. But "You can't live the same way and expect a new Result"

Expecting a new result begins with a new way of life. You remember the story of the young ruler that came to Jesus Christ to ask what he can do that he may have eternal life? (Matthew 19:16-22).

The young ruler wanted the greatest desire of all Christian, to have eternal life. Jesus simply told him to keep the commandments. The Ruler said he has been keeping the commandments since he was a youth. We can see that this Rich Young Ruler felt he needed something and what Jesus asked him to do was something new (He has been keeping the commandments since he was a youth, which seems not sufficient for him to have eternal life). Jesus told him to sell all he has and show love to the poor, Jesus told him to come and he was asked to Follow Christ.

Great are the desires of our heart, we have achieved some things in the past years and we desire something new this new year. Continuing in our old ways may not give us that great heart desire, we need to change our philosophy, we need to strengthen our relationship with God and we need to imbibe new principles to achieve new results.

PRAYERS
Dear Lord, our kind and heavenly Father, we humbly beseech You and this moment, we seek more of You as we step into this New year;
- We pray that You give us a new life, a life better than what we were living before so that we will achieve greater things.
- All we desire this year, kindly do them for us
- We want more of Your presence in our lives, please let us experience Your presence anew.
- We need to change our ways this year, we need to change our principles this year, we need to change our philosophies this year, please Lord, let your Holy Spirit help us make a positive change.
- Dear Lord, it is the Beginning of a new year, the Year we have not seen before. You are the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. you have seen the End of 2016 before we begin it. We therefore pray that
- Please go before us this New year and we will gladly follow.
- Bless us with the gift of the Holy Spirit and we shall be blessed
- Teach us how to love one another and lift us up.
In Jesus Name we pray.

AMEN
