THE LOOKWARM CHURCH/INDIVIDUALS

Revelation 3:14-22 NKJV

YOU AND I
14 “And to the angel of the church of the Laodiceans (or You and I) write, ‘These things says the Amen, the Faithful and True Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God:

WHAT WE DO
15 “I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot (neither strong for God nor weak for God, like we want to sit on the fence that separate good and evil, not too committed to the world and not too committed to God). I could wish you were cold or hot.
16 So then, because you are lukewarm (not too committed to God and not too committed to the world), and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth.

17 Because you say, ‘I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing’ (we feel we are self-sufficient, we feel we are holy enough and we are not too deep into the world, we feel we need no one to guide us because we have all it takes to make it.......and so on) and do not know that (before God) you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked.

GOD'S COUNSEL
18 I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire (Patient and Longsuffering), that you may be rich; and white garments (Holiness), that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see.
19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent.

ONE MORE CHANCE OF HOPE
20 Behold, I stand at the door (of our hearts) and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.

A VERY GREAT PROMISE
21 To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne. (Therefore, let You and I try all our possible best to open our hearts to Jesus so that He will come in and stay in our hearts and we will continually be on the Lord's side. We will then overcome and we will sit with Jesus on His throne. AMEN)

STERN WARNING
22 “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches (and to You and I).” ’ ”

God bless you, have a wonderful day.
