Psalms 20:1‭-‬9 NKJV

 1 May the Lord answer you in the day of trouble; May the name of the God of Jacob defend you;
 2 May He send you help from the sanctuary, And strengthen you out of Zion;
 3 May He remember all your offerings, And accept your burnt sacrifice.
 4 May He grant you according to your heart’s desire, And fulfill all your purpose.
 5 We will rejoice in your salvation, And in the name of our God we will set up our banners! May the Lord fulfill all your petitions.
 6 Now I know that the Lord saves His anointed; He will answer him from His holy heaven With the saving strength of His right hand.
 7 Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; But we will remember the name of the Lord our God.
 8 They have bowed down and fallen; But we have risen and stand upright.
 9 Save, Lord ! May the King answer us when we call.

We are very greatful for how far you have led us dear Lord. This is the beginning of another blessed month in the year 2016. We know what You have done for us in the past five months and we are very greatful.

As we commit the month of June unto You, our prayer today is "every time we call upon You this month, Dear Lord Kindly answer us. For every reason we call upon You this month Father please give us testimonies. Some trust in chariots and some trust in horses but we put all our trust in You, please answer us when we call."

With a greatful heart and with thanksgiving, we pray in the mighty name of Jesus.

Ephesians 5:8‭-‬14 NKJV

  8 For you were once darkness, but now you  are  light in the Lord. Walk as children of light
  9 (for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth),
 10 finding out what is acceptable to the Lord.
 11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them.
 12 For it is shameful even to speak of those things which are done by them in secret.
 13 But all things that are exposed are made manifest by the light, for whatever makes manifest is light.
 14 Therefore He says: “Awake, you who sleep, Arise from the dead, And Christ will give you light.”

Isaiah 55:1‭-‬13 NKJV

  1 “Ho! Everyone who thirsts, Come to the waters; And you who have no money, Come, buy and eat. Yes, come, buy wine and milk Without money and without price.
  2 Why do you spend money for what  is not bread, And your wages for what does not satisfy? Listen carefully to Me, and eat what  is good, And let your soul delight itself in abundance.
  3 Incline your ear, and come to Me. Hear, and your soul shall live; And I will make an everlasting covenant with you— The sure mercies of David.
  4 Indeed I have given him as  a witness to the people, A leader and commander for the people.
  5 Surely you shall call a nation you do not know, And nations who do not know you shall run to you, Because of the Lord your God, And the Holy One of Israel; For He has glorified you.”
  6 Seek the Lord while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near.
  7 Let the wicked forsake his way, And the unrighteous man his thoughts; Let him return to the Lord , And He will have mercy on him; And to our God, For He will abundantly pardon.
  8 “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord .
  9 “For  as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts.
 10 “For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, And do not return there, But water the earth, And make it bring forth and bud, That it may give seed to the sower And bread to the eater,
 11 So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in  the  thing for which I sent it.
 12 “For you shall go out with joy, And be led out with peace; The mountains and the hills Shall break forth into singing before you, And all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.
 13 Instead of the thorn shall come up the cypress tree, And instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree; And it shall be to the Lord  for a name, For an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.”

What’s in It for Us?

Right after the incident with the rich ruler (Matthew 19:16-26), what happens?
“Then Peter answered and said to Him, ‘See, we have left all and followed You. Therefore what shall we have?’ ” (Matt. 19:27,NKJV). Nothing in the text says what prompted this question, but it could easily be in direct response to the rich man’s departure from Jesus. Peter seemed to be implying that, unlike this man and others who either rejected Jesus or stayed with Him while and then left, he and the other disciples had left all for Him. They were remaining faithful to Him, even at great personal cost. Thus, the questionis, What’s in it for us?
From our perspective today, we might see this question as another indication of how hard-hearted and spiritually dense the disciples were (and to some degree that’s true). On the other hand, why not ask question like Peter’s? Why shouldn’t he wonder what he would get by following Jesus?
After all, life here is hard, even for those who have it the best. We are all subject to the traumas, the disappointments, the pain of our fallen existence. In the 1800s, an Italian intellectual named Giacomo Leopardi wrote about the overriding unhappiness of human beings, saying that “aslong as man feels life, he also feels displeasure and pain.”
Life is often struggle, and the good in this world doesn’t always even out with the bad. So, Peter’s question makes perfect sense. Because life is hard, what advantage comes to us from following Jesus? What should we expect from making the kind of commitment that Jesus asked of us?

How did Jesus respond to the question? See Matt. 19:28–20:16. (PLEASE READ)

Notice, Jesus didn’t rebuke Peter for selfishness or the like. He gave him first verystraight forward answer and then the parable regarding the workers and their wages. Though over the centuries great deal of discussion has ensued over the meaning of the parable, the basic point is clear: we will get from Jesus what He has promised us.

If someone were to ask you,“What will get by servingJesus?” what would you answer?

Seventh Day Adventist Study Guide, 2nd Quarter 2016, Lesson 9, Wednesday May 25, 2016. Title: What is in it for us?

This post was lifted from Seventh-day adventist study guide. This particular lesson made a whole lot of sense to me when i was studying it. Then i thought i could share it with you all because i believe a whole lot of Christians have this same question at the back of their minds.

You will see the beauty of this lesson ig you can prayerfully read each bible text along with the lesson.

The Lord almighty will bless each and everyone of us as we study.

I Peter 2:11‭-‬12 NKJV

 11 Beloved, I beg you as sojourners and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts which war against the soul,
 12 having your conduct honorable among the Gentiles, that when they speak against you as evildoers, they may, by your good works which they observe, glorify God in the day of visitation.

Deuteronomy 6:1‭-‬9 NKJV

  “Now this is the commandment, and  these are the statutes and judgments which the Lord your God has commanded to teach you, that you may observe them in the land which you are crossing over to possess, that you may fear the Lord your God, to keep all His statutes and His commandments which I command YOU, YOU and YOUR SON and YOUR GRANDSON, ALL THE DAYS OF YOUR LIFE, and that your days may be prolonged.

Therefore hear, O Israel (PUT YOUR NAME), and be careful to observe it, that it may be well with you, and that you may multiply greatly as the Lord God of your fathers has promised you— ‘a land flowing with milk and honey.’

  • “And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart.
  • You shall teach them diligently to your children,
  • and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up.
  • You shall bind them as a sign on your hand,
  • and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes.
  • You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.

Question: What is the greatest commandment that we have here?
Answer: We shall love the Lord our God with all our heart, with all our soul and with all our strength.

Question: To whom does this commandment apply?
Answer: To You and I, to our Sons, Grandson and our entire lineage.

Question: Why do we need to obey this commandment?
Answer: That it may be well with us, That we may multiply greatly, That we may fear the Lord and That our days may be prolonged.

Question: How important is this great command?
Answer: This commandment should always be in our heart, we should teach them diligently to our children, we should talk about this commandment always, we should bind them as a sign ouln our hand, they should be a frontlets between our eyes and we shall write them on the doorposts of our house and on our gates So much more that wherever we turn our eyes, we shall see the commandment.

Matthew 8:1‭-‬3 NKJV

 1 When He had come down from the mountain, great multitudes followed Him.
 2 And behold, a leper came and worshiped Him, saying, “Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.”
 3 Then Jesus put out His hand and touched him, saying, “I am willing; be cleansed.” Immediately his leprosy was cleansed.

Jesus was coming with multitudes when the Leper met Him.
1. First of all, the Leper was not intimidated by the crowd. In the midst of the multitude, he found his way to Jesus and he worshiped Him. No matter what your environmental condition may be (pleasant condition and unpleasant conditions), always worship God.

2. In those days, people with leprosy are seen as sinners. This particular leper in the story recognised himself as a sinner. Even as a sinner, he worshiped the Lord of host by diligently seeking His help for healings. "Lord, If you are willing You can make me clean" he knows that Jesus has authority over everything, so this is an opportunity for him to be saved if Jesus is willing. Therefore no matter how sinful you are or what your condition may be, the Lord is willing to help you if you also recognize His ability to save.

3. Our God is a Merciful God. If you humble yourself before him and you diligently seek His face, He will answer you and put an end to your sorrows.

Behold, the Lord ’s hand is not shortened, That it cannot save; Nor His ear heavy, That it cannot hear. But your iniquities have separated you from your God; And your sins have hidden His face from you, So that He will not hear. Isaiah 59:1‭-‬2 NKJV

 Dear Lord we thank You for the opportunity You gave us to learn great lessons from this wonderful story. We know You love us and we know You are always willing to help us. We humbly seek Your face this hour, Dear Lord, please heal our lands, please heal our sickness and please have mercy upon us.
We know You are willing to help us, its our sin that's always separating us from Your love, please forgive us.

Thank you Lord for answered prayers. In Jesus name we pray.

James 11:17-‬18 NKJV

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning. Of His own will He brought us forth by the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures.

Colossians 3:1‭-‬17 NKJV

  1 If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God.
  2 Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.
  3 For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.
  4 When Christ who  is  our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory.
  5 Therefore put to death your members which are on the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry.
  6 Because of these things the wrath of God is coming upon the sons of disobedience,
  7 in which you yourselves once walked when you lived in them.
  8 But now you yourselves are to put off all these: anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy language out of your mouth.
  9 Do not lie to one another, since you have put off the old man with his deeds,
 10 and have put on the new man who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him,
 11 where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcised nor uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave nor free, but Christ is all and in all.

 12 Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering;
 13 bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do.
 14 But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection.
 15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful.
 16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
 17 And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.

Every promise He ever gave you, either distant or recent, will be accomplished.
For His word shall not return to Him void.

Ephesians 4:25‭-‬32 NKJV

 25 Therefore, putting away lying, “ Let each one of  you speak truth with his neighbor,” for we are members of one another.
 26 “Be angry, and do not sin”: do not let the sun go down on your wrath,
 27 nor give place to the devil.
 28 Let him who stole steal no longer, but rather let him labor, working with his hands what is good, that he may have something to give him who has need.
 29 Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers.
 30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.
 31 Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice.
 32 And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.

Deuteronomy 28:3‭-‬7 NKJV‬

“Blessed shall you be in the city, and blessed shall you be  in the country. “Blessed shall  be  the fruit of your body, the produce of your ground and the increase of your herds, the increase of your cattle and the offspring of your flocks. “Blessed shall  be your basket and your kneading bowl. “Blessed shall you be when you come in, and blessed shall you be when you go out. “The Lord  will cause your enemies who rise against you to be defeated before your face; they shall come out against you one way and flee before you seven ways.

What is an Armour?
An Armour is a protective covering that is used to prevent damage from being inflicted to an object, individual, or vehicle by direct contact weapons or projectiles, usually during combat, or from damage caused by a potentially dangerous environment or action (wikipedia).

Armours are won on certain (essential) part of the body to protect those vital parts from getting injured. For example:

Helmets are to protect the head,

Breastplates are to protect the internal organs like heart, lungs, liver, kidneys and so on.

 The shod is also required to protect the feet from injuries (by the feet a soldier can advance or retreat in battle

and the shield, which assures a double protection for the armour bearer. With his weapon (for example; sword) in hand, the armour bearer is ready for battle

The last but not the least, the Belt; which ensures the soldier's protectives are firmly put in place, no saggy clothes on the battle field and no distraction of any kind from the personal protective equipment.

Any missing piece from these personal protectives will mean vulnerability of the soldier. The more missing Armour the more vulnerable the solder is.

Now let us look at what the bible says in the book of Ephesians 6:10‭-‬18 NKJV about prepations for battle against the greatest adversary of humanity since the beginning of the world;

 10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.
 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.
 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
 14 Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness,
 15 and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
 16 above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.
 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God;
 18 praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saint.

There has been a great controversy (where the devil is wagging war against the host of heaven) since the beginning of this world. The moment we make up our mind to be on the Lord's side, then the devil begin to wage war against us as well.

Verse 12 of Ephesians 6 clearly describe the kind of forces and power that battles with the Christians. Hence, the need to make adequate preparations before the devil will bring us down.

At all times we have to gird our waist with truth. That is; we should always stay sincere and all our dealing with God and our fellow human beings must always be true. Satan often time uses lies that seems so insignificant to ungird us as Christians so that he will strike us from that weak point. Please gird yourself with truth always.

The Breastplates of righteousness must always be put on. Righteousness is the quality of being morally right and justifiable. The 10 commandments must always be kept and this is synonymous to righteousness. You must Love your God and you must Love your neighbor as yourself.

Gospel of peace on our feet is so important in waging war against the devil. The more soldiers you have the greater your arm-forces. How then do you increase your army? By preaching the Gospel. Gospel of peace cannot just be done on a spot, you have to move about to spread the Gospel. The more souls you bring to the Lord's side the thinner the power and forces of the devil.

The shield ensures double protection, you have Armour on your body yet you still have shield to protect you. The shield can also be used as a weapon. A skillful soldier will apply power to the shield while he uses it to hit the foe on the head. Faith is the shield. But faith you will tell a mountain to move and it will obey (faith as a weapon). Without faith it is impossible to please God.

Helmet of Salvation means deliverance from sin and its consequences, believed by Christians to be brought about by faith in Christ. It also means preservation or deliverance from harm, ruin, or loss. The helmet protects the Head, the home seat of both evil and good thought (which means the great controversy happens most in our heaf and in our thoughts). Putting on salvations means; you are completely delivered from sin and its consequences.

After all the above are put in place then you need the greatest weapon to fight the principalities and power. The weapon is the sword of the spirit and this means the Word of God. How was the devil defeated in heaven before he was casted to the earth? (They overcame the devil by the blood of the Lamb and by the WORDS of their testimony REVELATION 12:11).

Pray always, be watchful and persevere, the Lord God almight will give us Victory of Satan and his legions.

Ezekiel 18:1‭-‬32 NKJV

  1 The word of the Lord came to me again, saying,
  2 “What do you mean when you use this proverb concerning the land of Israel, saying: ‘The fathers have eaten sour grapes, And the children’s teeth are set on edge’?
  3 “As I live,” says the Lord God , “you shall no longer use this proverb in Israel.
  4 “Behold, all souls are Mine; The soul of the father As well as the soul of the son is Mine; The soul who sins shall die.
  5 But if a man is just And does what is lawful and right;
  6 If he has not eaten on the mountains, Nor lifted up his eyes to the idols of the house of Israel, Nor defiled his neighbor’s wife, Nor approached a woman during her impurity;
  7 If he has not oppressed anyone, But has restored to the debtor his pledge; Has robbed no one by violence, But has given his bread to the hungry And covered the naked with clothing;
  8 If he has not exacted usury Nor taken any increase, But has withdrawn his hand from iniquity And  executed true judgment between man and man;
  9 If he has walked in My statutes And kept My judgments faithfully— He is just; He shall surely live!” Says the Lord God.

 10 “If he begets a son who  is a robber Or a shedder of blood, Who does any of these things
 11 And does none of those duties, But has eaten on the mountains Or defiled his neighbor’s wife;
 12 If he has oppressed the poor and needy, Robbed by violence, Not restored the pledge, Lifted his eyes to the idols, Or  committed abomination;
 13 If he has exacted usury Or taken increase— Shall he then live? He shall not live! If he has done any of these abominations, He shall surely die; His blood shall be upon him.

 14 “If, however, he begets a son Who sees all the sins which his father has done, And considers but does not do likewise;
 15 Who has not eaten on the mountains, Nor lifted his eyes to the idols of the house of Israel, Nor defiled his neighbor’s wife;
 16 Has not oppressed anyone, Nor withheld a pledge, Nor robbed by violence, But has given his bread to the hungry And covered the naked with clothing;
 17 Who has withdrawn his hand from the poor And not received usury or increase, But has executed My judgments And walked in My statutes— He shall not die for the iniquity of his father; He shall surely live!
 18 “As for his father, Because he cruelly oppressed, Robbed his brother by violence, And did what is not good among his people, Behold, he shall die for his iniquity.

 19 “Yet you say, ‘Why should the son not bear the guilt of the father?’ Because the son has done what is lawful and right, and has kept all My statutes and observed them, he shall surely live.
 20 The soul who sins shall die. The son shall not bear the guilt of the father, nor the father bear the guilt of the son. The righteousness of the righteous shall be upon himself, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon himself.

 21 “But if a wicked man turns from all his sins which he has committed, keeps all My statutes, and does what is lawful and right, he shall surely live; he shall not die.
 22 None of the transgressions which he has committed shall be remembered against him; because of the righteousness which he has done, he shall live.
 23 Do I have any pleasure at all that the wicked should die?” says the Lord God, “and not that he should turn from his ways and live?

 24 “But when a righteous man turns away from his righteousness and commits iniquity, and does according to all the abominations that the wicked man does, shall he live? All the righteousness which he has done shall not be remembered; because of the unfaithfulness of which he is guilty and the sin which he has committed, because of them he shall die.

 25 “Yet you say, ‘The way of the Lord is not fair.’ Hear now, O house of Israel, is it not My way which is fair, and your ways which are not fair?
 26 When a righteous man turns away from his righteousness, commits iniquity, and dies in it, it is because of the iniquity which he has done that he dies.
 27 Again, when a wicked man turns away from the wickedness which he committed, and does what is lawful and right, he preserves himself alive.
 28 Because he considers and turns away from all the transgressions which he committed, he shall surely live; he shall not die.
 29 Yet the house of Israel says, ‘The way of the Lord is not fair.’ O house of Israel, is it not My ways which are fair, and your ways which are not fair?

 30 “Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways,” says the Lord God . “Repent, and turn from all your transgressions, so that iniquity will not be your ruin.
 31 Cast away from you all the transgressions which you have committed, and get yourselves a new heart and a new spirit.
 32 For why should you die, O house of Israel? FOR I HAVE NO PLEASURE IN THE DEATH OF THE ONE WHO DIES,” says the Lord God . “Therefore TURN AND LIVE!”

Isaiah 61:10 NKJV

I will greatly rejoice in the Lord , My soul shall be joyful in my God; For He has clothed me with the garments of salvation, He has covered me with the robe of righteousness, As a bridegroom decks himself with ornaments, And as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.

I Peter 3:1‭-‬6 NKJV

 1 Wives, likewise, be  submissive to your own husbands, that even if some do not obey the word, they, without a word, may be won by the conduct of their wives,
 2 when they observe your chaste conduct accompanied by fear.
 3 Do not let your adornment be merely outward arranging the hair, wearing gold, or putting on fine apparel
 4 rather let  it  be  the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, WHICH IS VERY PRECIOUS IN THE SIGHT OF GOD.
 5 For in this manner, in former times, the holy women who trusted in God also adorned themselves, being submissive to their own husbands,
 6 as Sarah obeyed Abraham, calling him Lord, whose daughters you are if you do good and are not afraid with any terror.

The message here is for the women. How you handle your home makes you a missionary. A gentle and quiet spirit in handling your home is very precious in the sight of God.

I will begin this with a STORY:

  One day, a wayward husband finished from work and instead of going home he decided to spend the with a prostitute. Later that night, while he was in the hotel room with the prostitute, he decided to call his wife and tell her that; he finished very late at work and he's currently stucked up in the holdup as in standstill traffic...(all lies).
  Guess what? The wife sympathised with him and she started praying for the husband on the phone: "oh I'm sorry darling" "the Lord will protect you and guide you home safely" "the lord will bless and multiply you on your job and God will promote you speedily" "oh dear, its almost 11pm, you can lodge in any hotel nearby to pass the night, i and the children will keep praying for you. When it morning you can come home to freshen up and prepare for work" "i love you"
  By the time the wife finished on phone, the husband was almost in tears. He paid the prostitute off and he headed home. When he got home he confessed to the wife, they wept together, prayed together and that became the turning point in the life of a former wayward husband. That is the power of HUMILITY AND LOVE

  The book of 1peter 3:1-2 ordered wives to be submissive to their husbands even if their husbands are sinners (i.e even if they are without the word of God), your attitude and behavior can make a turning point in your husband's life, even if you don't preach to them from the bible.
  Verses 3 and 4 did not say you should not adorn yourself physically, it rather says you should not limit your adornment to the physical (even the prostitutes and the unbelievers does that) but let your adornment also be incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit. Guess what? This kind of inner beauty pleases God.

  A lot of our women today are not helping their husbands, the way some women nags at their husbands, the way some complain about unnecessary matter, the lack of respect and so on... All these makes their husbands want to stay out as long as possible (although thats not an excuse for the husbands)
   On the other hands, some wives have that inner beauty, yet their husbands appeared not to be moved by the submissiveness of their wives, you know the goodnews here? Keep up your good attitudes, your submissiveness and your love for such husbands. Why? Because your attitude pleases God. Just put in one more effort: PRAY FOR HIM ALWAYS.

Dear Lord, our Heavenly Father, we thank you for the women in our lives, we really appreciate how you've been using them greatly in your ministry.

A lot of families are still together today, not because of the husbands (the head of the house) but because of the wives (the strong women). We thank you so for the gift of women to our world.

- We pray for them today, may you continue to strengthen them.
- a lot are still struggling to put their homes in order, kindly help them.
- the strong ones among them, please make them stronger.
- the weak ones among them, dear God make them strong.
- wipe away their tears
- put a smile on their faces

I Peter 1:22‭-‬25 NKJV

 22 Since you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit in sincere love of the brethren, love one another fervently with a pure heart,
23 having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever,
 24 because “All flesh is as grass, And all the glory of man as the flower of the grass. The grass withers, And its flower falls away,
 25 But the word of the Lord endures forever.” Now this is the word which by the gospel was preached to you.

 14 And when they had come to the multitude, a man came to Him, kneeling down to Him and saying,
 15 “Lord, have mercy on my son, for he is an epileptic and suffers severely; for he often falls into the fire and often into the water.
 16 So I brought him to Your disciples, but they could not cure him.”
 17 Then Jesus answered and said, “O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I bear with you? Bring him here to Me.”
 18 And Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of him; and the child was cured from that very hour.
 19 Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, “Why could we not cast it out?”
 20 So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you
 21 However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.” Matthew 17:14‭-‬21 NKJV

Now in the morning, as He returned to the city, He was hungry. And seeing a fig tree by the road, He came to it and found nothing on it but leaves, and said to it, “Let no fruit grow on you ever again.” Immediately the fig tree withered away. And when the disciples saw it, they marveled, saying, “How did the fig tree wither away so soon?” So Jesus answered and said to them, “Assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but also if you say to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ it will be done.  And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.Matthew 21:18‭-‬22 NKJV

Now in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went to them, walking on the sea. And when the disciples saw Him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, “It is a ghost!” And they cried out for fear. But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, “Be of good cheer! It is I; do not be afraid.” And Peter answered Him and said, “Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water.” So He said, “Come.” And when Peter had come down out of the boat, he walked on the water to go to Jesus. But when he saw that the wind was boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink he cried out, saying, “Lord, save me!” And immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and caught him, and said to him, “O you of little faith, why did you doubt?”  And when they got into the boat, the wind ceased. Matthew 14:25‭-‬32 NKJV

One book (The book of Matthew), three different stories (Matthew 21:18‭-‬22, Matthew 17:14‭-‬21 and Matthew 14:25‭-‬32) but the same message (IF YOU HAVE FAITH WITHOUT DOUBT, NOTHING WILL BE IMPOSSIBLE FOR YOU).

Jesus preached the same message over and over means this message should not be joked with. This message is to our benefit anyway. We can do great and wonderful things if we have faith in God with no element of doubt within us.

Its time to do great and wonderful things. Every form of bondage that we may find ourselves,  its time for liberty. Pray a prayer of deliverance for yourself this moment, on your finances,on your career, on your student work, on your sick bodies or your sick family members and so on. Call upon the name of Jesus today and speak life into your situation, let your faith stand firm on the name of Jesus and exercise no doubt in your heart no matter how little and it shall be well with you.

Dear Jesus, we have studied your word today, please help us. We stand upon your word today with our faiths firmly rooted in you and we rebuke every form of storms in our lives, we speak life to every dead courses in our lives this day. We believe in you to deliver us and we have no doubt in our hearts. Kindly help us from above.
In Jesus Name we pray.
