Matthew 9:27‭-‬31 NKJV

When Jesus departed from there, two blind men followed Him, crying out and saying, “Son of David, have mercy on us!” And when He had come into the house, the blind men came to Him. And Jesus said to them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?” They said to Him, “Yes, Lord.” Then He touched their eyes, saying, “According to your faith let it be to you.”  And their eyes were opened. And Jesus sternly warned them, saying, “See that no one knows it .”  But when they had departed, they spread the news about Him in all that country.

What is that mountain in your life that you've been praying about every day and night? What is that problem that has been giving you anxiety? What is that health conditions that the doctors said it has to be a part of you till you die? What is the problem with that child that has been making you cry? What is the obstacles in your business and your relationships? ......think about everything bothering you

Do you believe that Jesus Christ, the son of the Living God can help you and your situation? If you believe, then say it into the Lord one more time in prayer and it shall be into you according to your Faith.

Father we believe and with Faith we pray this day about our problems, we believe you can help us and that's why we call upon the name of Jesus. Dear Lord, let there be testimonies.

In Jesus Mighty Name we pray.

I Corinthians 1:26‭-‬30 NKJV

26 For you see your calling, brethren, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called.
 27 But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty;
28 and the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are,
29 that no flesh should glory in His presence.
30 But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God—and righteousness and sanctification and redemption—

You remember when God chose Moses to lead His people out of the captive, Moses was nobody, He sees himself as unworthy (he murdered an Egyptian) of the task and he tried to weave the task by reminding God that he stutters. But we all know that this same Moses who ran from Egypt as a murderer became a great leader and he saw God face to face and He was even buried by God himself.

The call of prophet Jeremiah followed the same suit. When he was called, Jeremiah was trying to weave the task as a mouthpiece of God. He knows the people God want him to deal with. They are older and more knowledgeable than him, how can he convince them? He tried remind God that he is a very young boy and he does not know how to speak...God sanctified him and touched his lips then Jeremiah became one of the greatest prophet who speaks for God throughout his life (Jeremiah 1:4-10)

You do not have to be skilled my brethren. You do not have to look down on yourself and think to yourself that you cannot preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. Verse 27 and 28 of 1 Corinthians reminds us that not matter how weak we are spiritually God can use us even more than he can use the people who are spiritually stronger than us.

My message here is to encourage us to submit ourselves to be used by the Almighty. If God used Moses, if God used Paul, who was destroying the work of God by killing Christians to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ and win souls for the Kingdom, then You and I can also be used.

Our kind and Everlasting Father, we thank You for the opportunity You gave us this day to know that You can use us to do mighty things.

We know We are weak but You are strong, we humble ourselves before You this day, we submit ourselves to You this day to be used for the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We pray that You come upon us and become our wisdom and we pray that You touch our lips and fill it with your word.

We Love You Lord, We believe You have answered this prayers.

In Jesus Name we pray

John 1:1‭-‬18 NKJV

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 He was in the beginning with God.
3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.
4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.
5 And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.
6 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.
7 This man came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all through him might believe.
8 He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.
9 That was the true Light which gives light to every man coming into the world.
10 He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him.
11 He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him.
12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name:
13 who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.
15 John bore witness of Him and cried out, saying, “This was He of whom I said, ‘He who comes after me is preferred before me, for He was before me.’ ”
16 And of His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace.
17 For the law was given through Moses, but  grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.
18 No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him.

Let us start from the beginning, lets do some quick analysis here;

from the very first verse.
In the beginning was the WORD
the WORD was with GOD
the WORD was GOD

Still talking about the WORD, verses 2 and 3 confirmed that the WORD was GOD. GOD created the heavens and earth (you remember Genesis chapter 1 to 3), John 1:2-3 said "HE was in the beginning with GOD and all things were made through HIM".

Let us quickly analyze verse 14 of this chapter "and the WORD became flesh and dwelt among us". Do you remember the prophecy of prophet Isaiah? in Isaiah 7:14 NKJV "therefore the Lord Himself shall give you a sign: behold, a virgin shall conceive and bear a Son and he shall be called Immanue". Matthew 1:23 NKJV "behold, a virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel, which is translated "GOD WITH US"".

The WORD was GOD
the WORD became flesh and DWELT AMONG US......IMMANUEL = GOD WITH US

God visited man in the Garden of Eden before the fall of man. Adam enjoyed a direct and face to face interactions with God before sin brought the darkness that separated men from His creator. Because of the Great Love that our God has for us, He came (as JESUS, IMMANUEL) to dwell among men for a period of time, during this period, He conquered sin and he showed us the way to life eternal (no wonder verse 4 said "in Him was life").

The message from here is all about the Love of God for mankind. God created us in His Image, sin came into this world to mar the beautiful work of God and to completely separate us from our maker. Yet, our God so love the World, that He gave His only begotten Son (Jesus = Immanuel) to die for our sins that we may be reunited to our maker and Whosoever (black, white, caucasian, asians........) believes in Him will not perish, but have Everlasting life.

Verses 11-13 told us of how Jesus He came to His own people and they did not receive Him. But to those who received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

As we learn about the WORD today do not be like those who did not receive HIM. The Bible says those who received him to them He gave the right to become the children of God. Receive the WORD, preach about the WORD and let us win more souls to the kingdom of God.

And my senior friend shared this and I just have too do same...

*He stood up to teach in our midweek service. The first thing he asked the church to do was to go ask someone "How was your day?".*

*Everyone went around asking, shaking and patting each others back. Some even hugged themselves!*

*I smiled as I saw it all.* *Guess what, no one came to the pastor to ask that simple question 'How was your day?'. Yet! he was tired and it had been a really hard day for him.*

*Pastors and Medical doctors may have something in common- people believe they are fine as long as they are breathing!*

*You are quick to ask your pastor "Are you praying for me?" But have you ever told him "I am praying for you".*

*You know how to accuse the pastor of not visiting you but have you ever stopped by to check on him and his family?*

*You tell the pastor that you are going on vacation but have you ever wondered when last he had a break?*

*Your pastor smiles at you telling you "It is well with you" when at times, it is a prophecy for himself.*

*A pastor can officiate a wedding just after consoling a bereaved family (Can you imagine that emotional switch- yet he must be stable).*

*Your pastor is human too! Trust me, there are days he did not feel like coming to church but he still did! Some of the lovely suit covers the pains.*

*I have seen pastors quit because of depression (true!). Everyone knows how to fault a Pastor but not many know he has pains of his own. Everyone know how to judge a Pastors action but not everyone want him to discipline them even if its part of his job!*

*You can put a smile on your pastor!! Appreciate your Pastor. Buy gifts for your pastor and his family too. Send words and messages of love and encouragement to him. Seriously, when last did you call your Pastor just to wish him well and ask how he is?Distance is not a barrier!!!!!*

*Remember, he has the onerous job of watching over your spiritual well being. The happier and more stable he is, the better he will discharge his duties! Help your Pastor to succeed!*

*I have simply told you what some Pastors may never say!. Trust me! You can start by sharing this with others!*

*God bless our Pastors!

Deuteronomy 28:3‭-‬8 NKJV

“Blessed shall you be in the city, and blessed shall you be  in the country.

“Blessed shall  be  the fruit of your body, the produce of your ground and the increase of your herds, the increase of your cattle and the offspring of your flocks.

“Blessed shall  be your basket and your kneading bowl.

“Blessed shall you be when you come in, and blessed shall you be when you go out.

“The Lord  will cause your enemies who rise against you to be defeated before your face; they shall come out against you one way and flee before you seven ways.

“The Lord will command the blessing on you in your storehouses and in all to which you set your hand, and He will bless you in the land which the Lord your God is giving you.
